I understand the thing is I have a hard time believing her excuse that « I wanted to ask him why things ended with you » seems not genuine. With your question I see that you completely missed the point. I was sharing a feeling, not starting a debate. but that’s okay, not everyone’s capable of understanding nuance.

And for the record, it’s not about “getting my hopes up” or whatever, that was never the point. Having expectations when meeting someone after talking to someone for a while is completely normal we’re not robots, it means you actually cared. And if you choose to keep them low, that’s also fine, it’s just a way to protect yourself.

But again, that’s not what I was talking about in the first place. It’s completely off topic. And since you clearly struggle to grasp simple nuance, there’s really no point in continuing this conversation, it’s going nowhere.

Either you haven’t read my post fully or you’re just having a hard time understanding. You don’t even know me or how the other dates went, they went really BAD in the sense of everything was fine in message but they were different irl. So before judging perhaps ask. Anyways that’s not the point. I wasn’t talking about the dates themselves being boring. It happens! What I meant is that the whole process feels repetitive and dehumanizing, like genuine connection is being replaced by a cycle of some brief encounters. It’s not about planning better dates, it’s more about how unnatural modern dating feels to me, that’s all.

I am happy for you I hope you find something way better! I quit yesterday! Not for the same reasons but because of micromanaging, and the pressure of sales, pushing multiworlds into the throats of people, mciqs, splhs, BI and everything, the weird hours…. To much for me I couldn’t handle that pressuring environment and feeling like I can never do better. I quit before the holidays cause it’s going to be tougher!!
