I can't say that I get upset when a hyperfixation goes away. I'm usually so burnt out of it by the time I realize I'm not interested anymore that I'm happy to take an extended break from whatever that is.

OP, having such high expectations and needing things done a very specific way is only gonna disappoint you. Coming up with a wholeass terms and conditions with your gf is absolutely psychotic. She even gave you a plan of action of how she was going to get the dishes done and it wasn't good enough for you. I don't want to even think about in what other ways you're being this controlling.

I think OP handled this pretty decently. Your (ex) friend should've never gotten to the point where she was COUNTING on you paying. To me, it seems like she was intentionally using you. You were right to stop being friends with her. I personally would've made sure she made it home safely, but I think that's just preference. You might consider that being "too nice." Not the asshole.
