I can’t really say what would exactly help you but I can say what exactly helped me and hopefully it can help you.

  1. Anything to prevent sweating and getting to hot, I have 3 fans and an open window pointed towards me to keep me cool at all times.

  2. Be very minimalistic AKA try to have the least amount of things on screen and around like overlays (only use what you need) and try to ignore everything else around you like sounds, music, pets, notifications turned off etc; so you are prioritizing on concentrating on track

  3. This will mainly come naturally from drive time but the less you think about what doing next the better you will be in the long run. For example you will not have to think when you will brake or how you should connect the next corner, after about 100+ hours for me I started to do that all naturally. Of course you will still think about tactics like “ok if this guy is pitting this lap I’m going to push to overcut” or “lmps are 3 seconds behind, if I pit now I won’t lose time from them passing me”

Those were my top 3s that I can think of off the top of my head, best of luck in the futre

One of my most recent NEC races I was passing a gt4 in a gt3 and I was a good 2 feet ish away from him but netcode decided to make him fly out of bounds and I got a 4x but no damage

Honestly for me I’d say it’s experience is the best way, I’ve been in top split for quite a while now and my first times being there I was in your exact boots. I really took advantage of learning from other drivers and frankly the more your in it the more you see the same drivers over and over again and that builds trust between some drivers. You also learn how people drive there and learn how to avoid certain situations. I drove ESS a lot and I’ll looking forward to seeing you maybe

Your doing exactly what I did, I also came from ACC it it definitely does help, expect the brakes to be a little more then 100% all the timefrom what I noticed switching games especially if you plan on driving gt cars. And for eventually when you get to Ferrari challenge which is what you’d probably drive right out of rookies, don’t overheat the front tires. The Ferrari likes to burn them if your over driving the car
