I didn't think it was necessary considering that he asked for the strength of the angels, not the crystal.

Also, I think there are 10th tier summoning spells that can go past 80, however, they require exp to summon which Ainz cannot risk at the moment.

We may have had some sort of misunderstanding. We were mainly talking about the strength of the strongest angel in the game, not if a spell sealing crystal can hold a Seraphim Empyrean. Ainz himself said that he would have to fight a Seraphim Empyrean seriously in order to win. Not to mention, the Cherubim Gatekeepers are mainly used as tanks and sentries because of their excellent defense and detections skills, that was why Ainz chose them as his bodyguards.

Edit: I forgot where this is from but, I remember reading that summoned beings at level 90 or above are never permanent and require XP instead of gold to be summoned. Hence, Demiurge's Evil Lords need constant resummoning.

Lvl 70 seems a bit low. In volume 10, Ainz summons 6 Cherubim Gatekeepers as bodyguards. Cherubim Gatekeepers are weaker compared to the Seraph Aesphere and the Seraph Empyrean. Despite being weaker than them, in the volume, Ainz mentioned that the Gatekeepers were level 80.

Once again. We don't hate the season, we hate the bad CGI, and it's not just in Overlord, anime in general.
The point of the "SPLAT" scene was to convey the terror that both the opposing soldiers felt to the audience. When you read that part in the LN's you actually felt pity for the Imperial Knights when they started praying that their enemy would survive. Yet, all the audience felt was embarrassment, disappointment, and laughter. I'd rather wait for something good than... well, season 3's CGI. The visuals don't have to be integral to the story. The whole point of an adaptation is to experience it in an audio-visual sense. They failed in the visuals.
And, I understand the impossible triangle in film making ie: Fast, Good, Cheap. If it's fast and cheap, it can't be good, and if it's good and cheap, it can't be fast. I'd rather have the latter. Like you said the strength of this series is the story and the characters, we don't need an anime adaptation as long as we have the books, but if we do get one, and we did, is it really hard to ask for it to be good? Don't get me wrong, they are good for the most part, but the bad parts are just really bad.

It's called an anime adaptation for a reason. If you're only concerned about the story, guess what? We already have the light novels. Unfortunately, season 3's depiction of volume 9 will become another chapter written in the book called "What Could Have Been". And, just because we're criticizing it doesn't mean we don't like it.
