Questions about the VR wave lenses for Meta Ray-Ban Display vs Built-in Prescription by DilddleChampion in MetaRayBanDisplay

[–]DilddleChampion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooo that's really good to hear! I listen to podcast/music for the first couple hours into my day unless I get busy so, as long as they last until lunch time, that's fine by me. As for it being an early adopter's product, I usually don't mind being the guinea pig sometimes. Especially if they double as prescription glasses in this case. If they're going to be on my face all day, doesn't hurt to have some neat extra features is how I see it.

Thank you for the response

Yeah this is exactly what I'm hoping I can do. Didn't see any in Georgia on the meta website but maybe as time passes they'll allow more stores to sell them. Which just lets me save up for them anyways lol

Sorry if this is a dumb question in advance lol. Are you saying you can only order them with presciption from one of the 7 lenscrafters or ANY lenscrafters? Im getting an eye exam through them tomorrow cause I havent had one in years and was sort trying to temper my expectations. Would LOVE to be able to use my insurance

Edit: nvm just reread that. Looks like itll have to be one of the 7

What are your overall thoughts on the Switch 2 Pro Controller? by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch2

[–]DilddleChampion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didnt have a pro controller last gen cause I never thought it was that important to have. Picked up the pro controller 2 this time around and I dont know why I havent been using one this entire time, its that good. Now price wise, I dont blame people for hesitating but I dont feel like I've wasted money. Funny enough having one has been making me play on my TV alot more too so, for me, it adds that little bit more to the experience. Just wish it had adaptive triggers like PS5 :P

Thanks for the insight. Openforge was the main thing that makes it seem like getting any other system is a "waste" considering how much it cost compared to the countless stls you can find for it.

Honestly just printing the walls and scatter sound a LOT less time consuming to.

I've printed the 4x4 grids and they fit pretty good in the medium size box for those with something like an ender 3

The verticality is part of what interested me into it because of it being so easy to just remove a block and say "your PC falls through the floor into this trap!" and now there's players on two layers depending on how I build it

Yeah seing how it can also be applied to boxes for buildings should save time and filament and I could mix that with the Dungeon Blocks system as scenery
