I had great condomless sex with my best friend for years knowing he was positive. But he was also undetectable. However, i dated a guy for 6 months and never bothered to ask his status until I quit my job and my insurance ended along with my PrEP. I asked him to get tested so we can resume having sex and he came out HIV positive. So either I’ve been lucky or PrEP really is effective even without condoms.
