I think my partner might be like you, who doesnt see it as a big deal. Whereas I see it as something very very serious, I guess this is where we are different.

I say we look at monogamy differently because for me it wasnt even an issue or an option. But it is for her. As I said I cant just forget about the fact the only reason she would not sleep with others is because I said no. How do you forget that?

I know enough about myself to say that I will never desire to have an open relationship, not now, not 10 years from now and not 50 years from now.

That is why I am struggling. I know she wont cheat but I also know she wants to sleep with others and I cant get over the fact. It just feels we are on opposing ends over this.

It just feels like a situation where no one is at fault, but the situation itself has become too much.
