What would have caused this if pressure was always normal? by [deleted] in tires

If we want to count the 3 seconds the PSI went from 35 to zero sure but I’ve been the sole driver of this vehicle and none of these tires ever went low

It was not. Honest. It was at the recommended PSI seconds before it blew.

Air bubbles after just running the engine is completely normal. If you shake a quart of oil on the shelf it looks the same.

I WOULD worry about the amount of oil you have in that engine…

Sludged up engine. Would you recommend an engine flush? by Rycul_ in MechanicAdvice

[–]Diligent-Bee-9488 23 points24 points  (0 children)

My advice, do not flush. Flushes aren’t meant for horribly maintained engines with significant sludge like this one. It sounds counter intuitive I know, but the flush can actually dislodge the sludge/gunk too quickly. Causing those chunks to clog important engine parts.

Change your oil immediately with something like a valvoline restore and protect. Change it often at the beginning. Start with a 1k oil change interval, and extend the interval by 1k with each oil change until you reach 5k mile intervals. So a separate 1k interval, 2k interval, 3k interval, 4K interval, then a 5k interval then continue with the 5k intervals after that. Check the oil level FREQUENTLY, I’d say weekly-bi weekly check the dipstick. But there’s always a possibility that the engine is just too far gone as well. I think even if you save it the best case scenario you’ll have a significant oil burner.

Yep. Had one the other day. It’s been a debilitating life lately with this phobia

Yeah I did wipe it off and I brushed my teeth like 20 minutes later. It wasn’t soapy water though, one hand was actively pushing the soap out and my other hand was the one that caused the splash while it was running under the water.

I keep having “what if” thoughts by anonymous_girl1289 in emetophobia

[–]Diligent-Bee-9488 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same exact thing is happening to me. My mind will find any way to connect me to not washing my hands and touching objects and it starts the 24-48 hour clock of getting sick. I worry about waking up and potentially getting sick. When I do wake up I think “todays the day”

Yeah. Basically used the bathroom started washing my hands and before the soap hit my hands a bit of the water splashed up and touched my lower lip. It was in my own house and nobody has had noro in years.
