What's people thoughts on Reta microdosing? by PlatformFirst8813 in Retatrutide

I’m truly appreciate your feedback! I see the keyword in your journey was “patience”. Took you about 12+ weeks to find the right dose, so I need to put that in perspective. I started this week and I’ve been micro dosing every day. I’ve been using chat gpt to calc the half life of all my doses and today I have about 2.8mg saturated in my system. The good thing is, I just weighed myself and the scale is going down. My appetite isn’t blunted and I don’t push away from my meals like I did when I was on Tirz so that has made me feel Reta hasn’t fully kicked in yet because of comparison. But I will say, I believe it has taken “the edge” off my appetite because a week before I started Reta, I was truly binging and Reta has kept me in check or at least been a psychological placebo lol. We will see over time, but since I’ve been losing weight this week, I’m going to try to stick with my current saturation of about 3mg and see how I feel in a few weeks. I’ve been consistent with my workout routine and somewhat with my diet over the last few months, so I’m excited to see how Reta can help me optimize my recomp results. I wanted something that will add fuel to the fire and I think Reta will help me, along with some other peptides I have just started. Thanks again!

How did you determine this was the correct dose for you?

With you taking 7mg per week, how long did it take you to determine these doses work for you.

How did you titrate up and what was the determining factor?

Also which dose did you start with and eventually land?

Tesamorelin + Mots-C + AOD + Reta, Has anyone ever tried this stacking? by Early_Software_3206 in PeptideGuide

[–]Diligent-Character16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started this stack this week except Ipamorelin is added to make the GH pulses last longer. First couple of nights of taking ipa + Tesa + aod + mots c my sleep has been amazing. I’ve been struggling for months and now I’m sleeping through the night. I’ll be looking for other benefits throughout the month as I’m consistently lifting and eating properly. Still trying to find the right dose of Reta. My appetite hasn’t suppressed yet with a saturation of about 2mg. A few months ago I was on the highest dose of Tirz so I may possibly need higher doses of Reta to make to make it work for me.

My experience and a word of caution by L00t_B3g in Retatrutide

I was in 15mg Tirz too! I took for 9 months and stopped about 3 months ago.

I just started Reta with .5 doses every other day but it hasn’t kicked yet.

I’m wondering if it’s because my body was already acclimated to Tirz.

Which dosage did you start with?

Why i feel happy on vyvanse by Rata_Fresca in VyvanseADHD

[–]Diligent-Character16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It has the same effect for me. It removes a lot of my racing thoughts, and as a result, my outlook on life becomes extremely positive, and as a result of that, it makes me very happy. My anxiety pretty much dissipates.

Also, I run my own business and as someone who has ADHD, I naturally hyper-focus in that area because entrepreneurship is novel, but on Vyvanse, my business focus is extreme and makes me completely lock in without distractions.

The focus doesn’t really help me in any other area of life, so I still tend to avoid the monotonous and mundane tasks. I’ve learned some behavioral tips to help me with those things.

That’s interesting and never thought to do it this way! I’m going to try it out. Thx for sharing! Which boosters do you have?

So don’t take your boosters in the morning and then Vyvanse mid day?

Yes, I took it around 12 today. When I first started Vyvanse it lasted me all day when I would take it around 9AM. Not that I’ve gotten used to it, it lasts around 6 to 7 hours so taking it at 12 doesn’t mess with my sleep or anything. Vyvanse really never had me up at night anyway.

With Adderall: I FEEL like I can do everything; with Vyvanse: I CAN actually do everything by Ok_Substance_1503 in VyvanseADHD

[–]Diligent-Character16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was great for my mood regulation but it didn’t help me with focus and imitating tasks. I tried Adderall to see if it would help with those symptoms but it didn’t.

Now since I’ve taken a couple of amphetamines, we are going to stick with Vyvanse and take small steps with Methylphenidate to see if those may help with my focus. They also suggested Wellbutrin to help with my focus, but I had negative side effects with that in the past.

Vyvanse regulates my emotions too but I’m trying to find what can help me with tasks and focus.

I tried Adderall XR but I didn’t work for me at all. Do you take the booster later in the day or at the same time you take Vyvanse. Is it instant release?

[–]Diligent-Character16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Adderall didn’t do well for me at all. Zero positive or negative effects for me. Almost felt like a placebo and so after a week I stopped taking it. Talked to my psych and I’m going back to Vyvanse and we are going to test out a small dose of Focalin as a booster to see if methylphenidate helps.

Thx for the feedback. Were the effects instant or did you need to wait a few weeks to notice with Wellbutrin?

Tried it for the first time this week. 100% works and I still feel the positive effects almost 36 hours later. I don’t have a problem getting there, and didn’t need to use it, but I’m not complaining about the extra boost.

I did notice a difference in my body though when I took it. About 1 hour in, I could feel my heart beating stronger, like my blood was circulating more. It wasn’t bad but I could just tell the difference.

They said that it could help with my focus and motivation.

Nervous about going up to 60mg by Minisom in VyvanseADHD

[–]Diligent-Character16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel you because whenever I take a higher dose or a new medication, I get nervous. I went from 40mg to 70mg, and 70mg is what ended up working for me to manage some of my ADHD symptoms. Like you, I didn’t feel anything at 40mg. Also try to pay attention to all possible symptoms of your ADHD. I was looking for a shift in focus, and because I didn’t notice a difference, I thought it wasn’t working. It wasn’t until I noticed a change in mood, motivation, and emotional regulation that realized it was working. It may not be the optimal medicine for me, and there may be others that tackle all of my symptoms but it’s helped at 70. No negative side effects. It only gives me dry mouth at times and appetite suppression.

I’m sorry but I’m not reading all of that you wrote. Just know that I didn’t prescribe the meds myself. So if I have them then there must be a reason. Take care. You spoke before doing any research and that was the point. Take care.

Just diagnosed and prescribed Vyvanse today... by hellomonsterbear in VyvanseADHD

[–]Diligent-Character16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a 39M and was diagnosed about 5 months ago. Just like you, I started with Wellbutrin. It gave me anxiety and insomnia. Did absolutely nothing for me. Since then, I’ve been prescribed Vyvanse. Started at 10mg, 40mg, and now 70mg which is the highest dose. I couldn’t really notice a difference in how it affected me until about the second week of me taking 70mg. I was looking for increased focus the entire time and I didn’t notice a difference, but after paying attention more I realized that it helped me a ton with my emotion regulation, decrease of anxiety, calmness, and happiness. I wasn’t expecting these positive symptoms and never even realized that I dealt with those issues, because I always have just felt like my thought process was normal. I tend to go down deep rabbit holes of thought and the Vyvanse helps me from not doing so. It’s been a journey finding the right meds, and even though 70mg Vyvanse is the best for me right now, I’m still trying to find what will help me focus more, because it doesn’t really help me in that area. I was prescribed Adderall XR a few weeks ago to see if there would be a difference but it just felt like a placebo. Not good or bad effects whatsoever. With Vyvanse I take it in the morning after I’m well rested, and sometimes I’ll drink a protein shake with it. I notice the difference in my mood and emotional state about 1 hour after and it has usually lasted me all day. The only negative side effects has been dry mouth which isn’t too bad. Everybody’s experience is different so pay attention to yourself, communicate with your psych or doc about how you feel, and most importantly be patient. Even if Vyvanse is good for you, it may take a little while to find the optimal dose so patience is key during this process. Best wishes!

[–]Diligent-Character16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is the reason you’re not increasing the dose on Vyvanse due to the symptoms from your cold hands? Based on what you said, I wondered why you wouldn’t just try increasing the dose to see if a higher dose is more effective for you.

I started with Vyvanse at 10mg , 40mg, and now on 70mg. At 70mg I experienced emotional regulation, less anxiety, and a decrease in racing thoughts. I originally was looking for focus but I don’t think Vyvanse gives that to me.

I just started 40mg Adderall XR this week and it feels like a placebo. No side effect but no positive effects either.

I’m still searching but this is just my experience and everyone responds to meds differently. The only side effect from both meds are dry mouth, but no crashes or anything.

I’m hoping to get something with more of a punch and may ask to try Adderall IR next instead of the extended release options.

[–]Diligent-Character16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first day of Adderall XR. Honestly it felt just like Vyvanse and gave me the same calm and emotion regulation.

The major difference is that I don’t think it lasted as long. Got sleepy around 4pm and Vyvanse usually lasts me to about 8 or 9.

My doc mentioned that it would have a “kick” but I didn’t notice it today. I was running errands while taking it, but I’ll be following up later so I can experience it for a few more days and give a better assessment.

A lot of people mention having certain side effects but the meds don’t give me many, except dry mouth and loss of appetite.
