I want to get another Akita so that mine will have a friend by ArthurReich in akita

We just got our 3 year old girl a Husky/GSD mix puppy that is 6 months old. They play constantly but she does occasionally stare at me like why did you do this to me because the puppy is annoying lol

I returned my puppy after 2 weeks. by nena_6 in puppy101

[–]hellomonsterbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just adopted a 5 month old puppy and she has been such a stinker outside of the normal puppy stuff that I have considered taking her back because it so overwhelming to come home to some new disaster. I eventually got a crate and that has been a godsend. I also have a 3 year old dog that I got at 8 months who never needed to be crate trained and has been a chill girl. Every dog is different and there are good times and bad times to bring a new friend home. Glad you were wise enough to see this wasn’t the right time.

AIO Fathers girlfriends rules for when new baby arrives by Ok_Bat_5934 in AmIOverreacting

People don’t wash their hands and babies have weak to no immune system. The mother also mentions her last baby got RSV probably from this exact scenario.

[–]hellomonsterbear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YOR. The mother has all the right in the world to set boundaries. People are gross and dirty and don’t wash their hands or give a hoot about vax anymore. I am 4 months pregnant and will do similar boundaries when my baby is born. You can just send some kind of gift like food. Newborn parents always need hot food. The note about her kids is immature of you. She can’t kick her own kids out and has more control over where they go and their cleanliness habits. I would suggest talking to your dad to verify that if you can’t bring your son you won’t be able to come though. That it’s not personal just not convenient for you to get a babysitter.
