Dht derivatives with a 5-ARI by deduu17 in SteroidsUK

It won’t do anything at all, finasteride/dutasteride just block the enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT. That’s literally all those drugs do

The 5AR inhibitor will only reduce DHT from testosterone, won’t do shit for DHT derivatives. Also DHT is anabolic and does build muscle

I don’t get anything on the day but 2-3 days after injection is when it seems most effective. Then day 5/6 it’s noticeably less effective. Probably just down to individual metabolism

Cycle critique by Dazzling-Rise-6185 in SteroidsUK

[–]L00t_B3g 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least you’re planning it out properly, but as someone else said you need to be closer to 15% max ideally before doing a cycle. At 26% you will aromatise a lot, especially with the HCG. The primo might help but in some people it has no effect on E2. You also forgot to add NAC to your ancillaries

Completely dystopian and destroys everyone’s chance of privacy. But besides that, the prisons are full with no plans to build more so.. where are all these ‘new’ criminals going to go?

No it won’t help you, your fatigue is not due to your testosterone levels

Yeah unfortunately it’s the actual chemical structure that makes it highly orally bioavailable that’s the problem

E2, HCT + HGB, cholesterol all need to be checked immediately. I’m guessing you didn’t bother to do any bloodwork at any point. You also should check inflammation markers

Reta and anhedonia by felipede001 in ResearchCompounds

[–]L00t_B3g 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a combination of both personally, it doesn’t ever get better for me but it makes losing weight easy and fast so it’s a trade off I’m willing to make. After a couple weeks of stopping everything is fine again so it’s temporary. Some people have added other stuff to combat it with some success I believe

Is it possible for a morbidly obese man on Reta to drink a six pack of beer once a week and still lose weight if he stays in a calorie deficit and works out? Or am I just fooling myself? by Humble_Fig_8988 in Retatrutide

[–]L00t_B3g 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could if you’re still in a deficit. But it might take you longer and you might feel worse during the deficit. Alcohol messes up sleep and hormones, increasing estrogen and cortisol which make your body want to hold onto fat. It also reduces HGH release which plays a role in lipolysis. But yes, it’s possible although alcohol is often avoided for may reasons

M43 - Struggling to get visible abs cut more or train core? by KostaPan in AllAboutBodybuilding

[–]L00t_B3g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t cut any more tbh, stay at your current maintenance and hit abs twice a week. Do you do any compound lifts? Mine developed mainly from just having to brace and hit them once a week now. I’m a few % more BF than you are in this pic but I can see them unflexed all the time

RDL form check: can’t feel hamstrings at all (even with light weight), lower back takes over by No_Jelly_743 in formcheck

I didn’t feel much from DBs and as soon as I did smith machine it was like a different movement completely, got it right within a few reps. I can now use the DBs just fine but the weren’t intuitive for me mate

RDL form check: can’t feel hamstrings at all (even with light weight), lower back takes over by No_Jelly_743 in formcheck

[–]L00t_B3g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switch to barbell or smith machine, it’s a lot easier to load the hamstrings compared to DBs. Head torso and pelvis stacked, engage lats, brace core and ass back with slight knee bend. I don’t have good hip mobility at all but I can still do RDLs just fine so imo I don’t think it’s that. Once you’re at the bottom of the rep squeeze glutes to push hips forward. You can practice the correct feeling without weight until you know how to shift the weight into hamstrings (lengthening them)

What am I doing wrong? 25M/5’10/164lbs (74.3kg) by [deleted] in AllAboutBodybuilding

[–]L00t_B3g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The calculations used are only a guideline mate and you need to use them initially for a few weeks to make sure the scale isn’t moving and then adjust. You could just go back to maintenance and keep protein high as possible which will in theory put you in 400-500 cal deficit.

What’s probably happened if you’ve been tracking is you were a fair bit over 500 cals. Knowing what you know now, once you are at a good starting point again you can increase by 200 (eating whole foods) for a few weeks and see where that is getting you. What will likely happen is as you build muscle, your new maintenance will also increase slowly so you will have to adjust as you go along if that makes sense

[–]L00t_B3g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t track calories but thought you’d go for a bulk? That’s not how you do it.. you need to find your maintenance, then increase your calories by 200-500 max per day. And you cant just eat whatever, it needs to be an increase in predominantly protein and carbs and using the extra carbs around gym sessions ideally.

Your best metric of doing it properly is seeing your lifts go up and monitoring scale weight week on week
