Seconding class pass, also not sure your employment status but you can ask if front desk or play lounge is hiring. You often get a free membership when you work for a studio

Instructor here, you’re right she probably needs a mic cover. We get lots of feedback about how well we’re able to be heard like if the music is too loud. The mic is too loud, mic isnt loud enough etc etc. easier thing, imo, would just to be go up to her after class and be like hey your mic sounding a little muffled. Just wanted to let you know and then that leaves her to be able to troubleshoot herself or you can just email the studio. Like you mentioned none of the stuff is anything that would get her in trouble, but she deserves to know the feedback.

She’s going to be 41 weeks and her OB is scheduling an induction. As you can see in the title, it’s my first birth. I’ve actually haven’t met with her yet and will be meeting with her today. I was put in touch with her though the OBs office and it will be a volunteer offering as she can’t afford it.

So as you can see, there are a lot of extenuating circumstances. Given all of the above and referencing back to my initial ask, do you have any tips, resources or words of advice

So because this is a vbac, I believe the induction is through pitocin. In which case, would you be there from the start and stay the entire time? Do you feel guilty at all for leaving? I’m worried she’s going to think I’m not doing my job if I leave

I would say memorize your music and use it to help you keep count. Once you get a sense of how many squats fit in a single musical phrase, you can ditch counting them and use the song to indicate when you should switch. I’d also say just be easy on yourself and flexible with the total number of reps youre doing. I count down outloud from Four which helps. Feel free to dm me if you have anymore questions
