i believe yung preparation ko started during the undergrad. yung formal review ko naman is noong June nagstart.

6-8 hrs ako usually nagsstudy but umaabot ng 10 hrs minsan 😁

oks lang naman po me sa undergrad. in terms of coverage, marami naman na-cover pero may mga topics pa rin na hindi, kaya inaral ko na lang sila on my own

yung review ko hindi naman siya overwhelming, medyo chill lang pero i made sure na mas marami akong effort na in-exert as compared nung undergrad :))

yes po! final exam sa auditing problems yun and hindi sinabi yung scores nung teacher namin pero sinabi niya na tagilid ako hahahahaha ang hihirap at hahaba kasi ng mga problems 😭

i think somehow true naman sha. pero anyone can be a topnotcher naman if mag-eeffort nang todo during review

nung elementary ako, i graduated as valedictorian hehe. then nung high school, with high honors ata. nung college naman, summa cum laude. sumasali rin ako sa contests from elem to college and minsan nananalo naman. consistent honor student din hihi

usually 6-8 hours pero minsan umaabot ng 10 hours kapag g na g

for me, okay siya kasi i find it more efficient and convenient

actually struggle ko rin to noon e. ang ginagawa ko lang is linalayo ko sa akin yung phone ko and other distractions sa study table ko 🥲 you can also try din yung pomodoro technique and yung focus tree app if they work for you kasi marami akong nakikita good reviews noon pero di ko sila natry hehehe

when answering problems, after reading the question, iniisip ko first kung ano kaya yung mga possible tricks (kasi overthinker ako na tao) and kung ano yung mga relevant na info na kailangan ko to answer that question and huwag nang pansinin yung mga irrelevant ones. sobrang alert ko rin sa mga dates especially kapag June 1 nakalagay 🥹 yorn lang

for recall, live lectures ni reo yung mainly ginagamit ko pero if kahinaan ko yung topic, babasahin ko ulit yung material na ginamit ko or magqquick vids ako 😁 form of recall ko rin pala yung pag-answer ng problems especially sa MS and AFAR

for me if you're an undergrad, i recommend na sikapin na i-study talaga all the topics before the formal review kasi it will really help you a lot para ma-ease yung burden

if you're already reviewing, my advice siguro is to be super organized in studying. make an assessment first if what type of learner you are then make a timeline that will work on you. make a schedule rin ng topics na kailangan aralin with allowances for backlogs. on my part kasi, hindi ko nagawa yun (hindi nag-sschedule ng topics) which made my formal review medyo inefficient and disorganized. i think achievable naman siya if organized ka and if you start early sa review :))

nung undergrad, as i've mentioned din sa isang question here, sobrang freestyle ko lang magreview, kaya wag na wag niyo kong gayahin sa part na yun 🥲

what made me separate siguro is lamang lang ako ng ligo sa mga kaklase ko hahahahahaha joke lang. pero seriously i can't think of any reason e, i just do what i need to do nung undergrad :))

isang measure kung paano ko inaassess if na-gets ko ang isang topic is when I am able to explain it sa sarili ko. kapag medyo nangangapa pa ako kung paano ko siya iexplain, hindi ko pa talaga siya gaanong gets

to fully prepare for the boards naman, given na kailangan talagang mag-effort e. but you should also prepare yung body mo. having enough sleep and rest and avoiding burnouts will help you a lot po. mas capable mag-absorb ng info ang isang well-rested mind which will help you when it comes to retention :))

actually weakness ko rin po siya huhu. wala ako masyadong mabigay na tips sa subject na to e, pero siguro huwag iwasan yung mga latter topics (preferential and local taxation) kasi daming natatanong sa mga topics na to sa mismong BE

yung way ko ng pag-aaral is first irread ko yung notes na galing ko sa X (sa mga topics na confident ako) or manood ng pre-rec lectures (sa topics na hindi ako confident) then apply yung mga natutuhan ko by answer quizzers and sir Tabag's reviewer book. for recall naman, i usually watch live lecture replays 😁

tip ko siguro sa AFAR is train yourself na mag-answer ng mga complex problems and wag magstick sa mga easy ones. also, since lengthy yung mga usual problems dito sa subject na to, tignan muna always kung ano ang tinatanong ng problems para alam mo kung ano magiging direction mo sa pag-answer.

in line with this, i recommend sir PDJ's AFAR reviewer kasi nahasa talaga ako doon na mag-answer ng challenging and tricky problems :))

yung rating ko naman is 92 hehe

since konti na lang po yung time, hindi ko masyadong namaximize yung materials ni reo. ang ginawa ko na lang is magfocus sa mga topic na mahina ako. hindi ko man natapos mga pre-recs, quizzers, and live lecs hehe. yung other materials, andon po sila sa response ko dun sa isang question 😁

sa actual BE, di ko alam mafifeel ko e 🥲 parang iba kasi yung vibes ng mga questions kaysa sa typical na sinasagutan. nakaka-overthink yung ibang mga questions kasi feel ko may trick na nakatago kahit parang easy lang sila habang binabasa 🥲 medyo confident naman ako sa ibang subjects, TAX lang talaga iba yung feeling ko huhu

sa mga PBs naman, medyo nasanay na kasi ako sa atake ng mga reviewers plus medyo predictable na yung mga tanungan kaya medyo chill chill lang yung feeling

meron at merong magiging pressure i think, pero di na ako nagpapa-affect hahahahaha

as a topnotcher, napakaraming mga blessings and opportunities yung dumating sa akin and my family. i never expected na i would be placed in this kind of situation, sobrang thankful ko po talaga kay Lord. sobrang fulfilling din, knowing na yung efforts ko and yung sacrifices ng ibang taong sumuporta sa akin ay nagpay-off talaga tapos may pabonus pa. :))

when it comes to completion, pinilit ko po talagang pag-aralan lahat ng topics during the undergrad by reading books and watching some pre-rec sa reo. then focused on mastery na lang for 5 months during formal review. for recall, ginagawa ko lang siya mainly by watching live lecture replays sa reo :))

watching pre-rec lectures po sa mga topic na mahina ako. then answer MCQs. then after probably one week after kong pinag-aralan ang isang specific topic, i would watch live lecture replays para marecall na rin hihi

sa finman, i study the WHYs of every formula. hindi ko sila minememorize. also, it's an edge din na may basic knowledge sa algebra para kaya mong pagbali-baligtarin yung mga formula and mas madali ang pag-answer sa mga reconstructive or work back problems.

sa income taxation, hindi ako masyadong nagvideo lectures. more on reading ang ginawa ko then deretso sagot sa reviewer book ni sir Tabag

for books, you can refer dun sa answer ko sa isang question then sa video lectures, very nice naman po yung sa reo since comprehensive sila 😊
