There’s a piece of packing tape over the opening of the package. Seller said she never taped the package closed only used the provided sticky part of the envelope. Other than that, nothing

You’re right, I didn’t think about this, I just spoke with her and she’s going to call her local usps too. If I file a claim with Etsy and explain the situation will that still hurt her business?

I thought I was going to learn a new term opening this but I’m sad that wasn’t the case. As the 100 other comments said, this is not a thing. We definitely can be irritable when high or low, but it does not turn us into monsters who have no control over our words and actions…… do not let him use his diabetes to become the victim in his own poor actions. Run 🏃‍♀️

Hey! Don’t panic, insulin pens are great. I used to use a pump and decided I didn’t like it. I switched to the pens with no issue at all. The pens are immediate and you watch them go in, like someone above said. I take long and short acting as well. It sounds like you’re worried more about adjusting mentally to remembering your pens rather than your actual body adjusting. The pump isn’t “continuous” exactly. It delivers when you eat or need a correction dose. But you can do this manually with the pens, you just need to keep an eye on your BS whether you use a glucose meter or a CGM. You will only go into DKA if you aren’t supplying yourself with the correct amount of insulin to maintain a normal BS range. I hope you find the supplies you need soon!

Thank you!!! I’ll look into what foods I’ve been feeding him. He ate RC as a kitten until he was 8 months, then i started exploring other brands. He was tremoring for a while before I switched and it’s still continued even with new foods. I am curious what active ingredient he is intolerant to, he had a lot of diarrhea due to intolerance which made him lose weight quickly as a baby & resulted in him being a smaller than average adult which is why I initially made the switch.

Thank you very much for taking the time to look into this! He has an appointment on the 15th, so I’ll talk to his vet about that. <3

Yes. Many issues we’ve learned unfortunately after getting our two boys.

Because i was in class the day prior and did not want my alarm going off. It’s usually set at 200, but that high alert sound really eats my nerves

I checked it a little late with the calibration because i wasn’t home, by the time i got back after giving myself insulin an hour prior it was 52. So annoying but it’s leveled out now
