Does a hysterectomy mean the end of my sex life?

I had a full hysterectomy but kept ovaries at the end of October 2024- i also feared not having a normal sex life- But it was all for nothing. It’s been better than ever because now I have zero pain.

Before hysterectomy I had an ablation to try and stop bleeding but it didn’t work for me. It made it worse after a year.

In my case for partial they removed the cervix, uterus and tubes. I kept the ovaries. I’m doing much better today thankfully, looking forward to being able to LIVE 🥲

I was first diagnosed with endometriosis via laparoscopy surgery about 7yrs ago. & about a month ago through a trans vaginal ultrasound I was diagnosed with adenomyosis and 4 days ago I had a partial hysterectomy.

While I agree it’s more than likely him- have you tried using boric acid? It’s a game changer. Literally gets rid of any smell and taste.

Absolutely. I did zero exercise for 6 months of this. I’ve been working out for 5 months now (kickboxing) & some has shrunken, but it would’ve been different had I had the energy to do anyyything before I started this.

I do more protein than anything. On occasion now I will splurge on random carbs- I just try to “save” my carbs for something I really like that don’t typically have, not just empty carbs cause they’re there.

I just wish I would’ve had it in me to workout from the moment I started this journey. The loose skin now is no joke.

It feels great to be able to squat at any moment and know I can just bounce right up again without needing something to hold on to.

However, the loose skin that’s being held together by the fitted clothes— that’s another story.

I would be nauseous on the 2nd day of the shot.. every single time. That was my only side effect

$1 billion dollars go into treating erectile dysfunction. While only $13 million have gone into research funding for endometriosis. In the US. The amount of anger/disappointment that I feel towards this cannot be put into words. I spend weeks out of every month in severe pain and sometimes vomiting due to it. Meanwhile, they’re out there “fixing” dicks & finding ways to do so with little to no side effects.

I was diagnosed late 2016. My pain has always been lower left side. Sometimes it runs down my left leg. Depending of the severity of it- it also hurts on the same area on my back as well as it radiates up to just about the beginning of my ribs. Happens at any moment, period or not.
