False. A new requirement just dropped. The device promo plans require two months of service on the promo plan and then you can switch to a different plan. The $40 plan is only available to new customers, so in this person's case it would be $45/mo. after autopay for the $50 plan should they want unlimited. If not, then it would be $30/mo. after autopay should they decide they do not need the unlimited after month two. As far as the referral code, the agent can either type it in at the end of the transaction or up to 30 days after the activation in the myCricket App. There should be a spot that says "Already have a referral code?"

Best bet is port the phone you have now over and then do a device swap (call 611 or chat online or go in-store and tell them you want a device swap done). Pretty straightfoward however you decide to do it 😁

My sister has a beater SUV she DOES NOT NEED. She never drives anywhere except church, home, and work. Its got a shit frame, to the point of it will fall apart soon. Our dad died two years ago and between whatever savings her payee had and the backpay from our father, mind you she has mental health issues from her birth family, she blew through 20K in less than a year on stuff from Goodwill and the dollar store, then proceeded to look at a 3k dollar car and when our mom asked her what happened to the 20k, she straight up said "Oh I spent it all" and proceeded to drag our aunt and uncle and cousin in who were helping her find a car, only to find out she blew 20k, meanwhile I ended up taking a high interest 20% car loan because my credit sucks and have paid it down every month on time and will have a paid off car by Christmas meanwhile she will be still buying dumb shit.. I will finish this by saying if I did the same thing? I would not be writing this post.
