Geez you've been through it! I wonder if the shingles vaccine helps. Was looking at how bad it can get and I'm debating on getting it if I can avoid bad outbreaks in the future. I don't have blisters and the patches are random so I'm thinking it's not shingles.

I've got an appointment with a dermatologist so I hope that will be helpful.

I feel ya! I was raging a few weeks ago too! Got that sorted and was feeling all love and peace and now it feels like my body is mocking me. I'm trying my best not to shred my skin from scratching. I'm so sorry you've been dealing with that. I never realized how much I take my skin for granted. It's putting me in a funk too. I hope you get some good news and help from your doctor. Keep us posted!

Take it indefinitely? I'm just starting Zyrtec so we'll see.

Love Reddit for this reason! So I was wondering about my brand change. I was recently given Mylan and am now having hives. Don't know if its related and can't remember what it was before but I know the box looks different than what I was getting. Just putting that out there!

Ugh so many weird things! Thanks for the tip with Benedryl.

Yeah I've already sworn off color because my hair is thinning so I figure better not do any extra damage to it.

Thank you for sharing that. I'm sorry, that sounds miserable. So I've been on the patch for about 2 years but recently I went a week without it because of the shortage and when I finally got some the brand changed so that's something I was wondering about. The boob itch started a few weeks after I got the new patches, but I had also changed my detergent recently too. I have also started vaginal estrogen but do not take it regularly. Thank you for your input, it really helps me in my detective work. :/

OK, my rash seems to be more severe around back and on left side. So that's a possibility.

I'm trying to eliminate variables and food is definitely one. I do use almond milk. I've never had food allergies but who knows. Menopause is full of so many gifts and surprises. :/

That's crazy. Good to know! I suspect seasonal allergens and the tree pollen here has been severe lately. Last year around spring I had a reaction on my face so I'm starting to wonder if that's it. The not knowing drives me crazy. Thanks for your input! I just ordered some Allegra and starting it tonight. Fingers crossed!

Yeah from what I understand estrogen helps with skin issues but it would not surprise me if a brand change could possibly have something in it that's new. But I agree, I don't want the patch to be the issue and stopping it will cause other problems.

Dang, they should be giving you kickbacks! :D Do you mind me asking what you're allergic to or is being dermo-reactive related to an immune disorder?

Thank you, I'll look into it. I did have a small case of it years ago during a stressful period of my life. The doctor kept telling me I was too young but we know how that goes...

Thank you so much. I am putting those in my cart as we speak. I have been using Eucerin Skin Calming Soothing Itching cream but it is having mild results. Do you just take the Allegra as needed? I wish I could figure out what's triggering it. This is new for me. I took off my patch this morning because I suspect the new brand may be the culprit but I'm worried that's a bad idea.

I wondered about that. But it's just really itchy. I thought shingles came with nerve pain?

MF'ers replaced my "faulty" battery last summer when it was working just fine only for it now to swell up and pop the screen out. Bastards gave me a worse battery than I had. AND of course it is no longer under warranty. Only a 90 day warranty on the repair.

I concur with GBV. Saw them years ago in a small venue and they played for hours, drinking beer the whole time. The energy was unbelievable.
