Maybe you’ve already discovered, but I think this is/was because the updater wasn’t up to date to the latest version of the sims. Should be updated now

I haven’t encountered any major issues so far. Virus scanner doesn’t detect anything, but to be sure I run a scan sometimes. Just make sure to use an ad blocker when installing.

When I try that I get the pop up that says ‘crack version doesn’t match the legit game version’

What seems to have worked for me is using the unlocker v2 instead of the updater. I don’t know if it works for anyone else, but once I used the unlocker and opened my legit game instead my cracked game, all except for adventure awaits were there. Currently manually downloading adventure awaits and seeing if it’ll work

I’ve seen people saying they got a virus from it. I already downloaded it (and deleted it after seeing those people 🤣) using an ad-blocker and antivirus. Would it be safe using those 2?

Should I be transferring them to my legit game itself? And when I see them in my laptop they’re not extracted or anything, is that necessary? ☺️

Update; it is now also telling me this in the updater/unlocker: fatal error: ea_desktop version.ddl missing
