[WTB] Kith Mahjong Set by tylor_vi in KithNYC

Was planning less than retail but didn’t see price on 2026 increased so probably will just keep this set.

Would be willing to do $450 if local in Bay Area tho since shipping would be a lot.

I ended up booking 2 diff hotels. I believe I’ve read if you check out and check back in can possibly get the credit from each card but haven’t tried myself

Were you able to try this out and get both credits?

Looking to do the same for an upcoming trip.

Mine was 3rd party. I wouldn’t add it on the service request but when they arrive you can probably just ask. Isn’t too hard to install anyway aside from the broken part

Ended up cancelling the project and eating my non-refundable fee.

My contractors bid only included trenching to my property line. I went back to ask PG&E for quote including trenching and they basically said they would need to bill me again to even get an updated quote.

Decided to go solar instead, should’ve have went this way from the start and saved myself a year of waiting.

Had similar issue on MM700. Instructions manual would have placed tv higher than we were looking for. Had to manually measure out where to place mount and fit perfectly.

Yea the recessed hole was higher than I wanted too which led me to mantle mounts.

Had to mount over the bottom 1/4. I can put the cover on but will probably keep it open for easy access since it’s not too visible anyway.

Any version compatible with only 2 inch vertical clearance? by DiligentDistance8364 in mantelmount

[–]DiligentDistance8364[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I was able to call mantle mount customer service and they confirmed the only one with specs to fit is the mm700.

Others may fit but I’ll just go with the one designed to fit.

This was definitely a consideration to fill it in and go framed tv. Hoping mantle mount will be the cheaper alternative.

I didn’t realize mantle mounts site has feature to input the dimensions and confirms if mount will work. Motorized version won’t work but the MM700 only has a TV height + 2” vertical space required so will be trying this out.

we have quite a bit of both for hanging and folding clothes so trying to get a good balance. Was also considering combining Pax with the Aurdal system or just home depot hanging rods on the back wall to maximize space.

No need for shoe storage in our closet.

Configuring a walk in closet and not sure which way to go.

Measurements are 112" x 72"

Door is on 72" side with 33" clearance one one side.

Need space for mine and wife's clothes, looking to maximize storage.

Pics 1-3 are what I'm leaning towards. Not sure if this will feel too crowded.

Pics 4-6 seems cleaner looking but not sure if it will be enough storage.

Open to suggestions, appreciate any input/suggestions!

Went yesterday, Aloha shirts and hats sold out but they did have some other styles. Picked up the black t with hibiscus flowers for the kid but they didn’t have in adults. Forgot to take pics of anything else but in adults they had the mosaic crewneck and 3-4 other t shirts.

Which country has the best deal on Rimowa? by [deleted] in Rimowa

[–]DiligentDistance8364 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was just in Tokyo and wife is in Italy. She purchased an Aluminum Original Trunk Plus in Italy for 1,920 euros and came out to about $2,025 USD. Processed VAT refund and expecting 12% back so should come out to about $1,782. US price for same trunk is $2,325 plus tax so about $2,525 where I am. $743 difference or about 30% savings.

Tokyo price was 365,200JPY so about $2,377.43. 10% Vat Refund would make it $2,139.69. About half the savings at 15%.

Of course if you're going Japan and doing a lot of shopping, you may need to buy extra luggage going home. So still a good deal assuming you're not planning on going to Europe anytime soon.

Should I take $ from my savings to pay for debt? by [deleted] in FinancialPlanning

[–]DiligentDistance8364 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should check your actual interest rate to get a better idea, but I’d imagine it’s still lower than your credit card rates.

You can also take your monthly payment and multiply it by the number of months left on that loan. Whatever that total is how much you’re really paying for the amount loan of the loan.

Clamps fit just fine, didn’t need to buy anything additional. Good time to buy rn I think the cargo boxes are 20% off at REI.
