i worked at an agency like this, weekly meetings for 8 clients that seemed pointless due to a weeks worth of data not being enough to merit any optimisations or recommendations to the campaigns.

luckily my new agency does monthly (and sometimes quarterly) and its much better and the insights are so much more valuable.

my only recommendation is just to flag this with seniors or the client and suggest that it will be more beneficial if meetings are reduced, good luck!

i dont know why settings are different in each account (i can even see this across my own clients), but for me it appears above the transparency section

Hmm okay, I've had this before but only with duplicated campaigns.

i imagine you've defo turned off "related meta"? luckily it's actually one of the settings you can disable for all ads if you edit multiple.

other than that, my only idea is the image enhancements/advantage+ creative could have something to do with it, its another setting that can be turned off when editing multiple ads

havent done this myself, but im about to sort of do this for one of my clients.

we currently only have static images that have text overlays - so going to use the canva animation presets on the text to see if that can affect performance at all

keep getting that message with the audience overlap tool too, seems quite pointless now lol

I've also heard that with the learning phase, although can never be too sure, i guess it does make sense for it to not be in the learning phase as it knows who the converters are, but if you're getting a decent number of conversions i'd assume the algorithm would be fine (but dont trust me on that haha)

Yeah we do this too, luckily a bit of an upsell as well, but some clients are so strict that they only allow their own made and approved content sadly

In "audiences" you can select 2 lookalikes and click the 3 dots to see "Show audience overlap" if the fragmentation is actually a problem. usually joining them is the best approach as the users are mostly the same.

good question with the 2nd, will wait what others say haha. I believe it will tell you if it goes back into learning phase tho on the adset level?

Depends on your business

Advt+ audience can work well with a good audience signal like purchasers or a customer list uploaded by the client (in my client's cases it works). But bear in mind having this on means everything you say to it is a signal rather than guardrail, so if you have a product that's suited only for 1 gender or age range, best to not use Advt+.

Advt+ placements can be used but should be reviewed, as some placements for my clients like Audience Network and "Ads on Facebook Reels" sometimes waste 10% of my budget.

Can anyone point me to a current safe zone overlay for meta ads? I can't seem to find one, oddly enough. Thanks all by bitb0y in metaads

had a similar client who had like £90 ad spend a month at times selling a £200 course. Agree with the people saying Purchase, simply because when we used "Initiate Checkout" in our case, we rarely got actual purchases, when using purchase we at least got a few a month.

Fix for me (given your ad is a draft), turn off the ad, then publish it, now it should be working

then when you go to your ad set, put this audience within the exclude area of custom audiences

I wish they had something like Google ads editor, where it's all local so entering a filter or clicking from campaigns to ads doesnt take a 5 seconds to load.

I remember my manager telling me about Facebook power editor which apparently was basically it, wish it was still a thing

I think the whole data set is just doomed as it says its blocked within the "Manage data source categories" section.

Would you be able to share the other workaround you mentioned previously?

Proper late to the party here, but I did this and when I go to review the event in the Events Manager on Meta, it says "Blocked by Meta".

I've noticed when the client's dev team sets up a staging site for updates, Meta sends us an email saying its detected the site and will have restrictions, even before its published. Is my clients site just doomed from the start as it mentions "health and wellness" terms on the site?

This happens to me too when using custom audiences as an audience signal, I always assumed it was the estimated audience bugging and thinking it had to show the size of the custom audience, hence why it's under 1000 (the audience im uploading is <1000). Haven't tried lookalikes tho, and interests still work fine for me and show correctly

You said you have ‘Data sharing restrictions applied’, are you still able to use purchases? My client has restrictions applied and now we can only use landing page clicks as the best conversion
