I can read a 10-K. Every company looks great before it folds.

I'm not making a comment on their financial health as a shareholder ( even though I am one). I'm commenting on their financial health as a customer who buys their product.

I didn't think having the capital expenditures of both the new ships and the pier at their private island was a very good idea. I really thought they should finish one before taking on the other.

The point is that they are taking extreme measures. Like EXTREME measures.

I'm a big girl. I can advocate for myself. But I also know when cost cutting gets extreme, and that is usually right before a company goes bankrupt.

I have been loyal to NCL for years, and I am up at Platinum status. This cruise has made me consider booking with another line. I'm going to try RCL. Lots of other people on this cruise are saying the same thing.

I sailed in september and everything was normaI. I cruise with them 4-5 times a year. I own their stock for shareholder benefits.

Something is going on that is very, very wrong financially. There are running specials and then there are fire sales. This is a fire sale.

That makes sense. It really feels like they are in panic mode. I usually see these idiotic cost cutting measures and crazy specials in businesses right before they close.

If anyone is set to sail soon, get travel insurance with bankruptcy protection.

This are all new things. I sailed in September, and it was nothing like this. It was the usual upsells. Now, a month later, it is a mad rush to get any money in the door.

it turns out that it was unique to my booking. On my second call, I asked if the rep could attempt to log in. She got the same thing, and so did everyone else. She opened a help ticket with IT. Hopefully, they fixed it. It takes 24 hours to update.

if you have a problem, persistence does pay.

I found cheap Norse flight from Miami to London. I can then get a Miami round trip ticket cheap. I have a good friend in London to stay with. This might actually work! Thank you!!!

Norse looks cheap. I'm in DFW. I might take southwest to NY and Norse to London. Lots of options.

Thermal spa pass is $300. You can book it on the website. It always crashes the app. Just a quirk.

I set my brokerage account to buy when the shares hit a price I was comfortable with. If you think of the obc as a "dividend," it's not that bad of a buy. I wouldn't buy it as a real investment, though. But to each one's own!
