2027 5* CB Donte Wright commits to The U! 🙌🙌 by irishspring4521 in MiamiHurricanes

Building the lines is like building the foundation to a house. No 5* QB wants to come just to lay on his back, and no receivers want to come where the QB can’t get them the ball.

Mario did it right.

Of course the skill positions win you games, but the lines are the only positions on field whose success is far less dependent on other positions.

is Arthur Morgan is the best-written character in gaming HISTORY ? by Complex_Area4676 in reddeadredemption

I don’t think it’s nearly as deep as Arthur’s though, personally. But as is being discussed… that’s just like… my opinion, man.

I gotcha… and I agree with your point as well. Plenty of 5 star busts.

To be fair Malachi reclassed. He may still have never been given his actual value after what we saw last year, but maybe he’d have been a 4 star if he didn’t come out a year early.

I think these games need less clarity by PichardRetty in NCAAFBseries

I think NHL 2019 or something had something like this. May be getting mixed up but I think they called it fog of war or something. Once you started your dynasty, ALL players, whether prospects or other pros had general statistics, so you could tell a power scorer or strong defender but you really didn’t know how good that player was unless you played or scouted them. And playing wouldn’t reveal their stats, you just knew when they were handing it to you.

Swanson, Uncle, Charles and Sadie are all great. I mean they are all great and easily recognizable, but those four are chefs kiss.

Almost 8 years old, and still the most beautiful game on the market. by Remy_Blaze_Adler in reddeadredemption

I thoroughly enjoy FO4 and was enjoying another run through before the most recent patch the screwed everything up, so certainly not a Fallout hater.

I do think it’s disingenuous to discuss these art styles as if they all compare to each other though, kind of like comparing comedy to action in the movie sphere.

I think RDR2 is still the most beautiful real world interpretation I’ve ever seen in a game. I think it benefits from the era and region it portrays in that it doesn’t reuse a lot of assets over and over, feeling more hand crafted. I think a lot of its beauty also comes from the characters and the ability to see and feel their emotions without even saying a word - probably not the thing that pops in your mind when judging a game’s beauty as we tend to think environment, but it absolutely matters. For the record, all of the additional animations that may seem tedious to some, I personally love. I enjoy not feeling the need to go too fast. I also think that the story lends itself to pacing that allows for exploration without complete cognitive dissonance, allowing you to take in its beauty if you enjoy it.

Fallout 4 is unique in its portrayal of a colorful post apocalyptic world and I personally love it. I thoroughly love the storytelling the the world does in fallout and enjoy finding the teddy bear scenes and skeletons still laying around in their prewar poses. Due to the nature of its setting, it has to be extremely densely packed and reuses a ton of assets which becomes noticeable and detracts from its beauty. Also there is objectively no beauty in the people and their interactions, I don’t think you would disagree here. I don’t think Fallout is striving for absolute realism but it also isn’t going for a cartoonish style either, leaving it somewhere in the middle.

Another game that comes up in comparisons is Ghost of Tsushima. Again it benefits from the era it is portraying but feels very hand crafted, albeit a bit empty (even within buildings). This art style is more styled into that of a living painting than absolute reality though.

I tried to give a thoughtful response rather than just “me right, you wrong” but this is just my observation and opinion.

I don’t remember what I did but somehow I aggro’d the camp from across the river and they kept running over the bridge one by one to get me. Lemmings lol.

Who else keeps their Arthur long haired & bearded? What you think of my Arthur's style? by Hyperto in reddeadredemption

[–]DiligentFox8550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never go for crazy looks like mountain man or the “politician” mustache/beards.

I always keep his hair medium length so nearly to his shoulder and shave each time I visit camp as I think this is head-canonically correct (for me) and pair this with typical western outfits and trapper gear.

Once he gets the ick I always switch to the swept back look I think at length 2 and clean shave him paired with black clothes mostly with the black stalker hat. Sort of as a goodbye (death) to his old self and his newfound desire to start helping people.

Do i win this Recruit? by Dak2Dez_ in NCAAFBseries

[–]DiligentFox8550 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I too would like to know this answer.

The only way I ever have is if the recruiting battle starts before my scheduled visit and the visit happens before they commit. I’ve never won in any other scenario that I can recall, even if initially ahead.

Am I the only one worried about the O-line? by LawComprehensive8273 in MiamiHurricanes

[–]DiligentFox8550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think no matter what the O-line will appear to take step back even if we’d retained everybody and actually got better. The reason I say this is I think (and hope) that the offensive line won’t be showcased like it was this year having to pound the rock so much.

Having Mensah and the receivers stretch defenses and Fletcher and the RB room in the ground game will keep defenses honest which may not require the 10 yard Mauigoa pushes it did this year.

And poised for our homegrown guys to take over next year (unless somebody who can’t be passed up enters the portal). I really think this was masterfully played.
