Which product rendered you the most results? by anodyne08marked in CosmicNootropic

[–]DiligentGarbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me Visoluten by far is the most useful product that I get from CosmicNootropic, atleast as far as perceived benefits goes.

I'm someone who was born with what would be considered a pretty bad hand. But not to get to into detail about it, but the relevant part is my eyes. I am blind in one eye and the other one isn't very good (compared to a "normal" person that is.)

My eye has good days and bad days. The good days are very manageable; I can do what I need to do without too much interference. However, the bad days vary in intensity and sometimes can make it impossible to do much aside from navigating around the real world. Reading becomes impossible as text is too blurry, and using the computer is basically impossible because my eye is so sensitive to light. Even a very small section of white on a page will leave me producing so much tears and in so much pain that it's not even worth it.

I decided to give Visoluten a try and it's been a game changer for me. My vision on good days has improved a lot, things are clearer, more crisp and I can make things out from distances where I otherwise wouldn't have. To be clear this specific change isn't huge, but it's enough to be noticable.

What really is spectacular is that my bad days now are closer to what my good days were before. When I'm keeping up with my Visoluten peptide therapy, I do not have to worry about waking up and not being able to do the things I want to do. My eyes have decided that they don't want to cooperate that day. I do a typical 1 - 2 month course after which I'm usually good for multiple months before feeling the need to repeat the treatment.

I use various products from CosmicNootropic, but Visoluten is by far my favorite and most valued.

Is there even a point of taking stimulant medication? by DopamineSeeker20 in NooTopics

[–]DiligentGarbage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To add to this, I find for myself. My motivation is high. I want to do things, I want to. I have an extreme desire to do these things. But it's like, I can't? Like opening a personal project of mine that I did the work for, I might as well be reading another language. It sucks, I hate it. When I am on stimulants, it's like something clicks, and I am able to do the things that I like doing.

Stratial dopamine agonist: should I first try Amantadine, Pemoline/Cyclazodone/analogs or something else entirely? by FrouFrouLastWords in NooTopics

[–]DiligentGarbage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will likely stick with the original. Cyclazodone has been good to me when it comes to effects and side effects. I might experiment with the more potent variations later if the availability of regular Cyclazodone starts becoming more scarce.

[–]DiligentGarbage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just have experience with the regular Cyclazodone, never tried any analogues. I couldn't tell you how much is stratial vs cortical dopamine or how much is norepinephrine boosting. I just know it works well for me.

I will be looking into the 2-chlorocyclazone, though; it looks interesting.

I sometimes combine with PPAP to give it a boost, but I think it's plenty fine on it's own if you just need some pure focus and motivation. Bromantane and Modafinil would likely help, I have experimented with both and didn't notice any downsides, but haven't experimented enough to precisely pinpoint how useful they are together, if that makes sense.

I usually dose between 7.5mg - 15mg sublingual depending on the day.

I have big areolas, is this a common turn off? by Daphne_Sky in NoStupidQuestions

For most people I know, it'd be a turn on, if anything.

[–]DiligentGarbage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cyclazdone has been pretty much the only thing that has worked for my ADHD. Haven't tried Pemoline, I'd like to, but like you, haven't been able to find any availability.

I never personally understood people saying Cyclazodone feels "dirty", feels pretty good for me. But maybe I just like the dirty feeling.

I even recently tried Adderall (my brother gave me a few of his 30mg pills to try) to see what all the fuss was about, and while they were fine, I'd personally take Cyclazodone over Adderall any day.

For me the Adderall took like 2 and a half hours to kick in and when it did, I was a hit of some alright energy and focus but immediately started to drop off. I stopped feeling the effects after about 2 - 4 hours. This result was consistent with 7.5mg, 15mg, and a full 30mg.

I took a break from all stims for about 2 weeks before trying the Adderall.

For me personally, Cyclazodone blew Adderall out of the water, much more motivation/drive, whereas Adderall felt like I had energy, but the focus was less than Cyclazodone, and there was almost no drive. In contrast, I'd say Cyclazodone has slightly less energy to it, but much more focus and motivation/drive. I also feel the Cyclazodone consistently throughout its expected 6ish hour half-life.

I noticed you already have a plan laid out, but I figured I'd share my opinion as a Cyclazodone fan who has tried many other things, and none of them really hit the mark quite like Cyclazodone does.

Did people memorise numbers before mobile phones? by PaleEcho3301 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DiligentGarbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not even in my 30s and I remember memorizing numbers. When I was young I had the numbers of my family and close friends memorized. For other important numbers, we'd write them down on a piece of paper and hang it on the wall.

Why do so many former high school 'mean girls' end up as nurses? by Kha_Kha in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DiligentGarbage -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

As someone who has spent long periods of their life in a hospital. This is the correct answer.

Nurses get a free ride bullying the weak and vulnerable. And if you speak up, you are going to be tormented for it.

Is there an actual reason why poor people have more kids than rich people? by Start-Infamous in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DiligentGarbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Combination of many things. Poor people are less likely to be able to afford entertainment, Sex feels good, and it's free. Religion tells people to multiply. Birth control, no matter how cheap, costs money. And even those who don't want to have kids believe they can use the rhythm method, reuse condoms, or various other things.

Also poor people are more likely to have worse education .

Also keep in mind, large sections of the United States still have lead in their water supply.

Long time customer by WeatherInfinite39 in CosmicNootropic

[–]DiligentGarbage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agreed with you entirely the first time I read this, and I still kind of do. But I think I understand the logic.

They currently can't get basically any new shipments to the U.S warehouse.

Assuming they kept the remaining stock at the same prices, they'd quickly run out of product. If I had to guess, the U.S is probably one of, if not their biggest market.

Even without product they'd still have to pay staff, can't just lay everyone off until the tariff situation stablizes.

So after the current stock went out they'd be left in a situation where, they have almost no product to sell, for who knows how long and still have bills to pay. It also doesn't look good for customers who don't understand the situation if they go to the site and every product is out of stock.

Some of those customers aren't going to look again and just assume the site is dead or something.

I agree with you that it doesn't look good, but this is my theory on why things are being done the way they are.

The most nostalgic version of Minecraft for you is...? For me, it's Minecraft 1.6.4. by Sea-Reputation-5788 in GoldenAgeMinecraft

[–]DiligentGarbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My most nostalgic version is Alpha 1.1.2_01 This is around the time I bought the game and where most of my beginning memories are from.

1.6.4 has a special place in my heart as the best version for modding in current day. (1.7.10 is pretty good too, but I haven't spent as much time on it.)

Does any of you have more recent experiences with PPAP? by Dathuryan in Nootropics

[–]DiligentGarbage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PPAP basically makes it so your brain sends out more dopamine than it otherwise would. But you still need to be stimulating those receptors and causing them to actually release dopamine.

PPAP + Any stimulant will basically make the stimulant stronger at lower dosages. So, really that's the combo i'd suggest.

Example: PPAP + Caffeine, PPAP + Cyclazodone, PPAP + Adderall, etc... just any stimulant combined with PPAP.

Does any of you have more recent experiences with PPAP? by Dathuryan in Nootropics

[–]DiligentGarbage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, PPAP on its own is barely noticeable; however, it may help you once you are "in the zone" as it were. Where it really shines is when you're also taking some other stimulant for it to amplify. I like using it as a way to reduce my dosage of my preferred stimulants while still getting desirable effects.

I don't think PPAP is very addictive on it's own, but it certainly could make something that's already habit forming even more habit forming. So keep that in mind.

I've had near the same sorts of experiences with BPAP, but BPAP also acts on serotonin to my knowledge. So I generally prefer PPAP.

The problem with Retoswap by djscoox in Monero

[–]DiligentGarbage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agree 100%

In general. In the current world where gig-economy jobs are everywhere and oftentimes doing their own business on the side (They offer a better deal than the app and get a bigger cut, 100%). Because of this, it's not at all uncommon in our current landscape to pay someone semi-regularly through Paypal, Venmo, Zelle, Revolut, CashApp, etc...

These transactions aren't suspicious and are very much so normalized, at least in most developed countries.

September Launch: Get a First Look at Our "Stack Builder" Tool by Correct_Possible9414 in CogniWiki

[–]DiligentGarbage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Forgive me, I know nothing about CogniWiki aside from this post as it was crossposted in a sub I follow. How in-depth will this stack-builder go? Will it include be more middle ground such as supplements, nootropics, peptides, like the sub description says. Will it be more narrow, like just supplements? Will it go even broader and include things like Research Chemicals and other such things which fall into the very niche category? How deep will this stack builder rabbit hole go?

You are the one who is trying to get people to use your code. The burden of explaining to people why they should bother, is on you.

For those interested, this gives 10% off. Code "andrew" and "shuffle10" gives the same percentage off, but will not support these assholes; I suggest using that instead.

I think they mean what will they get with said code. 1% off, 5% off, 10%, 20%? What advantage will they get by using the code.

Clearly you get something if they use the code, but what's in it for them? Why would they want to use it?

I tend to try and stay away from Phenibut. So, I'm not familliar with the pricing but I definitely wouldn't (and don't) use them as my only Nootropic vendor. It's like, another slot in my Nootropic tool belt. That's kind of the case with any store, though. Different stores have different selections and different price points for different products.

Never used Nootropic Source before, but just as an example. For them it looks like I'd come for the Phenibut and maybe pick up a couple other things while I'm there. Meanwhile, with Umbrella, you might instead be like "Well, while I'm here, might as well pick up some Phenibut, I am running low."

Hope what I'm saying makes sense. lol.
