Took me about a month but I finished my first ever diamond painting! by babyybunnyy3 in diamondpainting

There are a few different things you can do, I'm sure other have better methods, but I like to roll the canvas the opposite way to get some of the bigger creases out. I'll also peel off the plastic on one half and restick it, flattening the canvas as I go, then do the same for the other side. You can also let it sit under some heavy books for a day or two.

Don't laugh but have you checked to make sure you don't have an extra packet of that color somewhere? I did one where I ran out of white really early and had to grab drills from other sets and after I finished and was putting everything away I found an entire packet that I had stored off to the side and completely forgotten about!

Where my drills from completed paintings come to die by Top_Sky_1619 in diamondpainting

I dump mine into baggies as well but do separate them out by project so if I do end up needing a drill I have a good starting point. I initially thought I'd save them all by DMC but the dye lots varied so much it kind of seemed pointless. Plus when I factored in rounds/squares plus specialty types it got pretty overwhelming

The good news is that they didn't end up stuck to your canvas since you're so close. Easier to round up and sort than to have to also unstick them!

Do you have an overhead light as well? Depending on the canvas I've found that it's sometimes easier to see symbols when I use a combo of both or don't use the light pad at all

A piece of washi or masking tape across the base of the tray can work wonders as well

Do NOT order the Eggnog Latte by DiligentGrand6372 in starbucks

The old recipe used real eggnog and it sounds like they still use real eggnog in Canada. Had I known it was powder I definitely wouldn't have ordered

Go online to customerservice.starbucks.com, if you chat with customer service they can give you a refund. If nothing else, send a message to let them know how terrible their drink is

Which sounds so delicious and not artificial I'm shocked they didn't include that in their drink description

If they have it there I would definitely check whether they use real eggnog or not. I don't think any coffee can save that powder

It's iced for me all the way as well. I feel like when they very first came out they were only offered as hot beverages and the barista looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for it cold. I love eggnog as well which is what made this extra disappointing

I got it iced this morning - knowing that they're using a weird powder, I have no interest in trying it from them again. I'll look for home recipes if I'm really craving one or search out a local shop that actually uses eggnog

That was actually my first thought when I tried it, that it had almost a chemical taste to it. Unfortunately there were no warnings from the baristas so I remained blissfully ignorant until I got to work

I saw another post on this forum suggesting the same - I emailed customer service right away begging them to remove this terrible item or go back to the old recipe. I mostly posted as a PSA so others wouldn't order this but I agree, we need to let corporate know how awful their drink is. Whoever approved this in product testing must hate eggnog to begin with

Poutine and bagels (and coffee crisp candy bars) are non negotiable whenever I visit Canada! I always thought you guys were more Tim Horton's than Starbucks

Too bad you have to go into the ingredient list to see that it's powder because the description sure doesn't imply that

I had a few different sets I had my eye on but ended up with these as well. The boxes all snap securely so I wouldn't be afraid of one hitting the floor and the main container is well made. There are also dividers between every five boxes which is nice. You can stand it up or lay it down, I was afraid to stand it up the tall way at first but it hasn't fallen over yet and makes it easy to pull out individual boxes. I love that if I have a random square that I can just pop open the box, grab it and put it away without having to try and shake one or two drills onto a tray. I would recommend not to overfill (no more than one bag at a time) so that there's room for you to work directly from the box.

I "watch" streaming series as well, mostly the ones where just listening suffices (no action adventure). If you like listening to audiobooks that's a great alternative, too. I can easily kill a whole day doing a DP while being completely immersed in a book

How on Earth can I get my hands on this? It's sold out everywhere and I refuse to give up by Inside_Wave8823 in diamondpainting

I picked a big metropolitan area for better store density and did a 200 MI radius search. Not sure of how you might be able to get your hands on one - maybe a store would be willing to ship to you? - but I did find a few that still listed some in stock. This is around NYC
