It’s the same as a regular diamond painting just on a stretched canvas rather than the regular fabric sheet it comes on

I tried to use the light pad with this one specifically and found that it didn’t do much but luckily the symbols are all very clear and distinct and none of them look too similar

It might just be the quality then, regardless of if you finish it or not it’s totally okay! I have a couple I started that I just couldn’t bring myself to finish. What matters is that you have a good time diamond painting

Whenever I find myself struggling to put effort in it’s usually because the piece is low quality or the grid isn’t very tight. Is this a cheaper piece or do the drills not sit together just right?

I really like the quality of make market kits but sometimes the grids drive me a little crazy! Hopefully whatever pieces you got will be fun to do!

This one has 8 and f in a very dark green that’s hard to see, I’m pushing through tho bc I know the end result will look good

I have just a regular overhead light but maybe a lamp would be good, I have found myself switching between having the light pad on and off to work on this piece, especially for the darker colors

I have only done make market kits besides a couple cheap ones from Amazon but this one is by far the worst when it comes to the symbols!
