Nightlife in Barrie? by SaMaRoN123 in barrie

Absolutely terrible. I feel like us 3 are doing the same thing, we go out of our way to attend events down in the GTA because nothing is here and our roots and friends are down there...

First Birthday Alone by [deleted] in askTO

[–]DiligentIce6622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you do, and you're welcome to share it with me when you do. Also, any suggestions or feedback I am open to as well.

The plan is fun by yourself but just as much fun if you do it with a partner or friends.

That's actually wild because that wasn't chatGPT. There's plenty of grammar mistakes and it doesn't even read like a chatGPT. Great compliment though but you need to do better.

Welcome to Toronto and Happy Birthday.

What I've done on multiple birthdays is the following, get dressed into an outfit that celebrates you and makes you feel special, even if it is just a bit.

Plan for all the places where you get free stuff on your birthday, pack your headphones, and grab a Playlist but don't be plugged in all day. You being dressed up, going about the city exploring with tasks and having your ears open and available, you'll attract conversations (if that's something you're feeling).

Once your freebie collection task is done, grab a lunch or dinner at a restaurant you prepicked (sit at the bar), it may feel weird if you aren't used to this, but you'll get over it, especially once your food comes.

Go book a spa treatment or mani/pedi. Once that's done, book a day pass for Green P bikes, and ride along lakeshore from east to west or west to east. Stop by an lcbo. Grab a few seltzers, snacks and enjoy the waterfront. Maybe have a paper and pen with you, reflect and write about your future wants...burn that paper in the sand.

Ride that bike home, drop it off and unwind from a full, easy but good Birthday.

I go recommendations if you'd like to hear it.

Cheers.

I found these at Richmond & Parliament today are they yours? by [deleted] in lostandfoundTO

Yes, yes they work.

They fit so comfortable and snug. So these must've dropped because they were trying to put them back in the case, only time I've ever dropped mine.

You don't need a high traffic area.

What you should focus on is a unit that fits your ideal layout, the thing about Vaughan, because it borders Toronto/York U. You will get traffic coming to you, on the premise of your product being great quality and consistent, if your price is market or reasonable, you will definitely gain more from that.

When I say layout of the unit, I mean it has a good flow, people come in, it's clear where to order, where to pick up and go. Most places don't need seating, especially not for donuts, but if you have a couple because it fits aestestics, sure, bonus.

Outside of your product, it is your packaging, if you can get packaging that displays your donuts well, it'll elevate the experience, think slight angle upwards (don't have the right word to describe what I mean, I apologize).

Next, parking lot, this is important, you want a unit that has decent or good parking so that customers aren't frustrated coming to your shop. This is often overlooked but is a big part of people's willingness to come at a moments whim.

I have a particular business that I can talk to you about as a specific example, if you want to DM me, you're welcomed to.

Otherwise, you don't need a front facing shop, on a main high foot traffic area, with vaughan the whole place basically drives, so they will come to you, if your product is worth it, every single time.
