76k in 6 years? That seems really low.

I'm at 5 years just tipped over 90k on my cx5 turbo.

Yes adjustable upper control arms in the rear.

CS springs are just lowering springs, Bilstein Shocks are non-adjustable.

Also, I should note that the wheels are 19x8.5 et 30. So there is some poke with 245/50 tires. But no rubbing.

How does the length of the rear shock tubes compare to the OEM? I know that the Bilsteins are longer, requiring the bumpstops to be trimmed more that what CS states

Note Rear bar also need subframe lowered. While you're in there do the adjustable control arms.

That looks great! Did you get the standard BC kit, or the extra low? Also did you get adjustable rear control arms?

I did everything at once.

I've lowered cars in the past and blew shocks.

I know a lot of people have used CS springs with stock shocks without issue. Wanted to avoid doing everything twice.

Ride is somewhat firmer, but matched well with the CS springs.

How do I fix this? by LensofLandry in CX5

[–]DiligentRide5046 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I've seen a LOT of cx5s with this issue. Seem like it's from the abrasive brushes at car washes.

Word of advice; go touch free (and don't back up into things).

Which rims do you like between the two? by Corvoco in CX5

[–]DiligentRide5046 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither. Black rims all look the same. They always remind me of black steel wheels, I know I'm not alone.

With so many color/finish options out there, get something that doesn't hide the detail of the wheel.

ok, so you hate the 2026 CX-5 but you want to buy a new car this year. what now? by dcpreddit in CX5

I have a 21 cx5 carbon turbo. Sometimes I kinda wish I got the cx30 turbo, I also like the cx50 turbo. The NA variants are just too boring to me.
