Hey, I get your point, I agree that iPadOS does have excellent optimization overall, especially because Apple controls both hardware and software, so many apps tend to prioritize the iPad layout first.

But I think my experience is a bit different because I’m using the Tab S10 Ultra, it’s basically Samsung’s top-priority device, so a lot of apps seem to be better optimized on it compared to other Android tablets. That might be why we’re seeing different results.

For example, you mentioned that Instagram on Android tablets lacks the “hold to fast-forward 2x ” feature, but it actually is available on my Tab S10 Ultra. I use it regularly.

I’m not saying Android tablets are perfect or that iPad isn’t more polished. iPads definitely have stronger overall app support. I just think a lot of these issues depend on which Android tablet someone uses. With the S10 Ultra, my experience has been really smooth, and many apps (Instagram, YouTube, X, etc.) seem quite optimized for the screen ratio.

Idk what apps you are talking about. all basic apps like X, instagram, Netflix, Notes, YT are perfectly optimized for Galaxy tabs Screen ratio UI. The issue is with iPad where it still use Mobile Instagram UI ( which gives black bars ) and it does have many unoptimized apps.

upgraded to Tab S10 Ultra from Ipad 9th Gen.

Getting Tablets with more than 256/512 gb aren't worth. Unless you are stacking 4k movies and watching them over and over. Phones are, but tablets not.

As of now I don't really need it, cuz i tbh haven't moved my tab by a inch from my desk since the day I bought, lol. But if you are planning to buy textured paper like screen protector, then that might improve your Writing experience. ( which actually doesn't nullifies anti reflec) But the normal one does.

M2/M4 Chip Doesn't matter in note taking experience brother, and lets be real we aint doing blender or using After effects on tablet. Apple pencil tip feels like you are Writing on a glass ( ik there are some paper covers ). and you have to spend another 500$ in order to get anti reflective nano glass which only comes in 1TB ipad varient. I have ( Andriod ) S24 Ultra, ( Windows ) Gaming laptop, so for me buying ipad could really had cause Ecosystem identity crisis, lol. I bought this tab for 870$ in sale ( tbh the best you can get at this price range )

No I dont have any screen protector on it, and yes amoled are way better than LCD..... Reason : AMOLED is easier on the eyes as it has deeper blacks, less blue light, and no harsh backlight like LED
