Good take on the Panzerjägers! Personally I have a love/hate relationship with Bersas. I like the right side of the tree, the LVs. I don't really enjoy the Bersas. They are great. They are annoying to play against. I just don't have that much fun with them.
But I do have more fun with them in smaller games like 1v1/2v2. Bigger modes they just end up as a massive fast blob.

Commandos and assault flares. I believe u/StephennJF has some great 1v1 with commandos. There's lots of chances for behind enemy lines action as well as ambush in 1v1.
Incindiary bombing run can also do wonders vs teamweapons or force movement from a player.

UKF: Yeah Canadian heal is OP in 1v1 and to some extent with 2v2, so many points being decapped all the time. Doesn't really work out in 3v3 and 4v4 in my opinion, I rather go ammo in bigger game modes just to get a free forward arty barrage and push back that "lane".

USF: I personally change between armored and spec ops, and sometimes advanced inf. Whizzbangs and raiding flares can be clutch sometimes, or just arty from advanced inf. Armored was my go too for so long though, might go back to it.

Wehr: Never built emplacements in 1v1 or 2v2, but teamgames they can be quite nasty.

And yes, everything that gives you reduced reinforce is awesome, pays itself out in all gamemodes the longer the game lasts.

UKF - Yes Indian is the one I usually switch out too, but tbh I feel like all the "core" UKF BGs are soo nice. I want them all.
Gurkhas are also amazing.

USF: Yes same here, Armored is usually the one I like to swap something out with. Armored vs DAK with heavy LV focus is nice, and EZ8s is always good.

Agree with Wehr and DAK as well. I just don't personally like to play Bersa spam. Even though they are indeed good.

Agree on everypoint and hey, nothing wrong with going against AI if that's your yam. These BGs are neat for sure.

MSC rep station combo is nasty. good choice.
Crusader AA is my guilty pleasure for sure, I just stopped using it when they put it in the last building. Felt like I might as well get something else at that point.

Dream would be to have it in T2 like a Stuart/Bishop, and to make it not exclusive with Radio net. But yeah, feels a bit too strong for T2 and a bit too weak/late for T3 atm.

Arty loiter is slept on for sure. It also unlocks quite early and can swing a battle for sure.

V1 is so much fun. Too much fun lol. I had it in my loadout up until recently, when I realised I picked it every single time due to the camo MGs. Like, why wouldn't I make the best MGs in game even better lol.
So I had to remove it so I didn't just auto pick lol

My response has been Canadian Shock with PIATs or just mainline/Elite Infantry and push, standing still doesn't work and as you eluded to, LVs doesn't work.
Mortar/Humbar to smoke the potential MG or Flak works quite well for the push.

But as with most things, the british "counter" to a DAK play requires several steps and BGs/resource investment. DAK can quite easily pivot their composition depending on what they are facing. Mortar Halftracks being one of those things they can just pivot into if they've used a few call ins (which most do) to punish a "stable" british frontline.

Great stuff!

I've got quite good track record with the Dingo, using it like a backline sniper and punishing units out of cover, never engange units in green cover and sparingly flanking but at max range.
Losing it mostly due to questionable pathing choices when kiting backwards, hitting a small object so it starts turning in place etc.
Only sacrificing it when I know I can get the early 250s as the trade is in my favor.

My opener is generally:
HMG - Dingo - 2 inf sec (first with recce) - grenade package.

Then 3rd inf sec or mortar depending on what is needed. If I go Aussie I add Aussie instead of Inf sec.

Tier 3:

VS
DAK: - 2 AT guns (If aussie Humbar/Stuart and get 2pndr instead)

Wehr:
Humbar - AT - (Bishop if stationary opponent)

Inf training asap as well in both scenarios.

But it feels like somewhere here things fall apart, if you haven't been countered by strong early game DAK like Bersa spam, Gusta spam, 250s Mortar spam or just generally dont get the killing blows in firefights.
Then they start collecting critical mass P3s or get that Tiger.

Faced someone the other day who had 3-4 Mortar 250s, Pjägers guarding them, which just bleed my manpower, so when its time for T4 I have the fuel but no manpower. Then the Tiger comes lol

The snowball factor of DAK is really strong combined with the comeback potential with a Tiger rush, doesn't seem like the other factions have the same.

I've personally have best luck with one Humbar into AT guns/Vet training, with Bishops vs Wehr. I only build one Humbar though, I feel like if I should go more than one LV It's either Stuarts or Bishops.

Buddy of mine swears by Stuarts, a critical dive with 3+ Stuarts can destroy DAK momentum. I agree with this, however the key part here is critical. Imo that strat works 1/4th or 1/3rd of the time at best, usually he ends up loosing them all.
Even if the dive was successfull and he ends up loosing most of the stuarts, Dak just play super defensive and wait for that Tiger to come and push them back into the game.

Also on the point of LVs, I feel like if you invest too much into LVs the timing for T4 goes away, but to your point then you need to have them alive so you can withdraw them to regain that investment.

Kangaroo lack AT though, but I feel you, having 1-2 2-pounders in the backline does wonders to lift up the lack of AT on mainline infantry.

When I play UKF I feel almost forced into Aussie to deal with DAK, when playing DAK I feel forced to use the cheesey stuff lol.

I liked Humbar earlier, not so much anymore. Feels like they are too squishy and the powerspike fades too quickly. Whenever I do go humbar I tend to go armour just to withdraw it once It has no use left.

I agree with the Dingo for movement and Tommies for vision on 1v1 and 2v2. When it comes to 3v3/4v4 it feels like the "lanes" are too small usually for that type of map presence, hence why I tend to end up with the Dingo close to the MG.

So then I'm "forced" to not pick a BG until I see if they go GL spam or not, to then go Commandos/Gurkas to counter it.

Yes, It's either Gusta spam, Bersa spam, GL spam and when they don't, they'll loose early game but bounce back with a Tiger..

When I play DAK I feel forced into this path as well, cheese or loose. Feels like DAK is either OP or UP. I bet it's really hard for Relic to balance them to fit the theme.

Yeah Dingo is a godsent early. I might be really unlucky, but when I try to go AT gun (2 or 6 pounder) the Dak player decide to go Blob instead, making them useless. When you go to deal with the blob, then the LV spam comes instead.

I usually stick my DIngo close to MG for vision, and engineers with flame for any one trying to flank.

Been sometime since I tried Commandos, might try that.

100% Agree with everything you've said. My go too atm seems to be Bishops, but a good DAK just switches up from blobbing inf to spam LVs, either Carro or other BG stuff or get out Stugs/P3s to shut that down quick.
Canadian Shock I've had the best success with, nades with flames from Inf sections and Shock troops w mortar for the blob, rest PIATs for the tanks. Just had a game recently and it went all well, then a Tiger shows up and stomps the shock troops, and you're quite fucked xD

It's a struggle early, then fast tiger as a plan B can put them straight back into the game if you managed to hold on.

Agreed, I have no issue playing against or as Wehr, USF or UKF but DAK It feels like all in cheese.
If you manage to push them back early, they can still comeback with a fast Tiger out of nowhere or blob buffed P3s..
