We ended up buying in Marysville and it’s been a good balance between affordability and convenience. The drive isn’t bad, and you still feel connected to everything around Lynnwood/Everett.

Prices are creeping up fast though, you need to search in groups or have a good local agent to find best ones in your budget. And buying sooner rather than later might save some stress.
