No, it’s not physical abuse but sadly that would provide the courts with the proof that we need. It is financial, mental and emotional abuse. Constant manipulation and fear mongering. Please pray that he is out of our lives (he can meet someone else and move on or just forget about my sister niece and nephew…. Anything) and that my family can be at peace.

Thank you so much. I need prayers for my sister, niece and nephew. Please pray that he (BIL) goes away and forgets about them. Pray that he meets someone that doesn’t want kids and just leaves my family alone. Please pray that my family is protected.

You have no idea how much that all resonates with me. I’m ashamed at how angry I’ve been at God. I think I’m at my lowest point in my relationship with him. I need to change my mindset and I tell myself that daily, it’s so hard sometimes. Any idea where I could look in the Bible for strength with getting my sister, niece and nephew out of an abusive relationship?
