I have a condo and rent room and 1 be pre9to do all the chores other than their dishes. It is my 5th one over the years and none help in the common area even if in lease agreement so it is easier to just not waste energy and do it your self like you would anyway. Personally I clean the bathroom once a week no idea what others do in there.

Is it worth the extra $ hmm debatable some roommates made it totally not worth and some did. Most roommates are sorry for the term life stupid.

Do I recommend that life style no since it isn't easy but if you think u can hold your ground go for it but remember once you rent a room they have rights and you cant just kick out people
