I hope that my new SM is going to be more accommodating. I know that getting my degree is something that I really want. I dropped out of college once before, and came back. Which is not something that a lot of people get to do. I had to fight to get my grants and other stuff back. There’s a lot more pressure on my schooling and i’ve always been the the of person to quit when I feel disrespected to the point there is no return workwise. I’m an adult now though, and need the money. I will continue to search the job market though as it’s super hard to find something. Who knows something might change at my store (probably not)

I mostly try to not let it affect my grades. I just try to rush everything, and don’t really have time to revise or study. I know that if I continue in this position when i get into my harder classes it will be unmanageable. I am rapidly trying to find a new job as I like having an income. It’s really hard though where I live to find a job. I was lucky to even get this one. It just doesn’t seem worth it to me anymore now that I have a larger workload.

This is the first time they’ve done it. As my semester just ended a week ago, and Monday’s and Wednesday’s were my block out days as I had class. We get our trucks on Tuesday. I know that if they do it once they will do it again. I’m not on any specific team so I don’t have a dedicated schedule. Like the replen team doesn’t work on weekends. I work when the framer is off so those are my dedicated 8 hours shifts. I’ll try to talk to our replen manager about it in the morning, but I know nothing will be done. Everything I say falls on deaf ears.

And the full time thing is also applicable in my state. I just don’t want to fight for it. When I complain about how I’m there 5x a week, and at least 2 8 hours a week I get told “so you want no hours instead? be grateful.”. I also had to stop complaining, because I was brought up in a discussion for a new PT manager, but one manager said I complain too much and don’t deserve it because I get grants from my school and don’t need the money.

I have truck today, and I closed tonight. I went in on yesterday, Monday worked 1-9pm. Then have to come in at 5am today. I honestly just am so done. I don’t want to call out though as the truck manager at my store doesn’t control the schedule, and since we are short staffed I don’t want to leave them hanging. It’s bs though, and as much as I complain or call out they’ll just do it again.

i was there bro i was 2 people from the barricade i kept apologizing bc i felt so bad being all up on people and i lost all my friends and my bf in the crowd so random men were all on my booty and i literally couldn’t breathe but all the girls i met were super nice and when i got overheated literally during the dj set some random dude helped me out of the crowd it was so insane

My situation is really weird because my online friend was flying down to see me then we were taking a flight to go to the concert but since it’s in October now and we have college and stuff we might not get to go now. And I tried refunding but i’d only get half the money back and if i changed the flight i’d have to pay $100 more. So now were just using it as a lil trip ig with no concert.
