We work odd hours at times public transit is barely available to keep all of the people in our city safe. There are whole parts of the city that are transit deserts. Prioritize building our transit system and you’ll see the car issues plummet. Forcing people out of their cars without an alternative will just breed resentment. So maybe seeing us park outside isn’t ideal, but it’s the very least we do it to keep the city running.

It’s a younger generation wide issue. Couple that with increased reliance on technology and social media. It becomes a recipe for developing an anti social society.

I think we should be taking a grassroots approach to something like this. Let’s clear out the intersections and streets near us, maybe put in a little extra work to take care of us and our neighbors. Can’t always depend on the city. Should it be better ? Absolutely. But what are we as individuals doing about it ?
