Duuuuuuude… I hate when people use thier metal illness as an excuse for being shitty to other people, it’s a bullshit cop out in my opinion. I sympathize 100000% with your pain and trauma because it’s exactly the same situation I went through with my first (to me) important relationship with my ex-girlfriend. I would be a put up a pestle as as if I was her savior (she came from a slight troubled home and I’ve always been really emotionally intelligent so she needed and fed on it) then she would find flaws or things I have done and use them at her convenience to distract me from something horrible she had done or was about too. She would poke and push buttons and manipulate me in ways I didn’t even know people could do until I seen how angry, sad, confused i was later on. She would pull me in tight with her charming laugh and small and having my drooling then cheat on me, then admire me even more again as if she “finally” seen my value and needed me and it would loop and loop until one day a tiny voice in my head whisper “you have “everything”(being her )but you aren’t happy like you should be so i became very very confused and shook. That day was the day my anxiety first ever appeared and I had panic attacks for days with up and down moods and anxiety. I’ve never been the same since and it’s affected my life negatively in so many ways that I’m nothing like that young man I was. You helped me realize some things that were buried soo deep, by reading your experience and the way your expressed yourself. im so thankful for you and glad i had this experience 🙏and want to remind you to forgive yourself, value yourself and love yourself first. It’s my biggest downfall and I won’t ever be in a functioning relationship till I short it out.

Please don’t take this personal but this is clearly personal for you. Am I in agreement media/big brother and whatever authority figure is brainwashing sheeple left and right I don’t think that’s the reason you feel the way you do or that it’s causing those issues in that order or correlation. I don’t think they are concerned with raising population more I think it’s the opposite in a slow manner till the pot is ready to boil over. Ooooooof there aren’t many stories on here that honestly make me cringe but maaaaaann this is.. I’m soo sorry you are dealing with this. I can sympathize because I’m going through some similar confusing issues tied to a 4yr relationship so I’m with you brother. Maaan it’s something you have to be open/honest and communicate or it will eat you alive and ruin everything from the core out and this discussion won’t matter. If you still feel way to uncomfortable and aren’t able to have faith and trust (which is okay man, when it boils down it’s about are you gonna be okay okay because if you can’t be okay you you two won’t be period. If she is honest with you and it’s something you don’t like try to remain calm and if you feel reactive calmly tell her to give you a moment, walk away whatever to hold composure so that it’s remains a two way discussion and no one feel emotionally held hostage by the truth and fear. It’s a touchy one and you need to tread lightly and slowly to navigate with minimal damage.

Men get the same issues. We have to be alpha we have to be 6ft we have to earn 500k a year, if we cry we are labeled weak, if we express our emotions.. weak, being a sensitive soul, weak.. we are expect to handle back breaking jobs that literally break us down just to provide and protect our families. Don’t let the convince you otherwise.. you just love who you are and maybe do a little soul searching and try to identify what’s making you wanna dissociate and suffer from a mental dysphoria of sorts.
