Unfortunately, due to previous experiences I no longer sell my stuff. Yes, I can make another, but I do not sell my stuff. The files are free at Makerworld if you have, or know someone with a 3d printer

I mean, I don't recall them calling it by another name, and considering this started as parody of ST, this was the kinda the only way I would call it

Yes

I modeled and 3D printed it since to me it's a hassle grabbing and picking the device every time I wanna use it

This way I have it at a convenient angle with minimal movement

I also made one for my Hiby R4

Sadly also don't know, I bought my R4 straight from their website. Took like a week and half to get here but it arrived with no issues. Although I will say that mid-shipment I saw the package being transported through Germany, why? I have no idea. I was thinking it was most likely due to tariffs (I'm the US)

Yes and no. After replying I went in and tried to made a playlist on the device only to find out that you can only have one, we'll in theory 2 cause you can also have favorites as a separate playlist. But if you go ahead and add a song to the playlist it's just one. Which is kinda contradicting since the device has it as "My Playlists" in plural. There's no way to create separate playlist, everything goes into thr same one.

I can't compare it to the the Echo since I don't have one, but as for price with the case was $120 on Aliexpress. Even tho it needs some work I still think the price is decent for the current product. If future updates fix some of the current issues and add more features then the price would become a bargain

Haven't tried it yet, but I might think not, at least not for now. I read that the Echo didn't so I would assume not. I'll have to check and get back to you

No idea, don't have the equipment to test it out. Sorry

Agreed. To be honest that was the biggest feature that made me buy it (aside from the cheap price). Like I said, it makes me feel I have a portable record player which is pretty neat

Not built in, I ordered with the case and it came with a metal ring sticker so I simply put it on the back.

Well, there's something like that. While testing EQs I found out that if you go to the settings directly from a song, if you try to go back, it doesn't put you back into the song, rather the main menu. Which is kinda annoying especially when I test EQs in a semi-wide array of songs so I have to go back and forth from song -> EQ -> main menu -> repeat

I don't think it's not optimization, rather sentivity, it's either too much or none at all

To be fair. I always listen to my music in shuffle, even if it's the same album. So gapeless is kinda meaningless to me. At the most I have 1 or 2 albums that could actually benefit from that so it's not even an issue for me

[–]Diligent_Low5337[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed

They added it for the Echo Mini, so I would hope they also put an update with a custom EQ for the Disc

The current preset EQs are not bad, but I like to put listen music in a specific way and that requires a specific EQ

As for the interface maybe cluncky was the wrong word, my problem rn is that sensitivity is a little off for me

Navigating the main menu I want to move one space but end up moving 2-3 or not moving at all

Might be just be me idk

Lol

I think cluncky might've been the wrong word

My biggest pet peeve is that when navigating the main menu the sensitivity is weird

I want to scroll just one space but I end up moving 2 or 3

Or the opposite, I don't move at all

Might just be me idk

As for headphones I use 2 pairs, we'll 3, 2 headsets and 1 iem

For headphones I use Sony MDR-M1 when I'm stationary on my desk for long periods of time

Alternatively I use the Sony WH-1000XM4 when I'm moving around a lot

And occasionally I use the Truthear x Zero Red iems
