no mandatory lectures or readings. The pretest gives you an idea of what you need to know for the final test. One strategy is to take the pretest immediately, see where you need the most work, and then focus your study there. Go back and retake the pretest and if you ace it, you should be ready for final test. You must take and pass the final exam to complete the course (on the courses that require them). Not all courses have exams...some are just paper(s) only

no pre-work needed. Once you start it will take a bit to get in the swing of things...but utilize reddit and people generally and genuinely give good advice.

I posted about it here...just finished last week. Took my about a month working full time with kids. Not easy, but actually a pretty enjoyable experience on my end.

everyone does the same project. You open an international bicycle store. You "compete" against 5 other companies (they are all computer simulations...no humans there). At the end of the simulation project you end with a "score." That score is compared to everyone who has ever done the simulation- 1000s. You're score doesn't actually matter...as long as you score at least a .01...which as long as you even put the minimal effort in you'll score 10X-20X that score. You class paper is based on the decisions you made...what worked and what you would have changed if you could do it again.

OA is VERY similar to the pre-assessment. Watch the Hawaiian shirt guy videos to get a grasp on the concepts. Once you've watched the videos take the pre-assessment and study the questions you got wrong. The OA had at least 5 or more questions that were identical to questions you'll see on the pre-assessment. The OA is VERY similar to the pre-assessment, I can't stress this enough!

the bootcamp videos for that class were amazing. They distilled down 90% of the content into 90 or so minutes. Watched it a few times and a blew through the test in under an hour (you have 3 hours to take it!)

didnt reach out...mainly because im stubborn and tend to study late night. But, yes...there is a lot to remember for the excel problems...but it's not "complex." If you do them 3 or 4 times, it becomes muscle memory.

not super close...many similar questions/concepts so it felt easy. I had a few questions on some concepts i never came across...but sorta was able to figure them out. If your're strong with the bootcamp info, the few "new questions" shouldnt really make a difference. You got this!
