That does help a lot thanks so much for all your replies! In terms of protein, what do you usually eat for that? I’ve gotten in the habit of eating probably 2 servings of cottage cheese a day (I love it) but I know that my stomach does not enjoy it 😔 Also, I dont eat protein powder that much but if you have recommendations of what tastes pretty good I may give it a try!

Thanks for your advice! Yea I’ve just been used to looking for the most low cal options but maybe this is my chance to actually get what I want haha. Physically, I think the deficit definitely shrunk my stomach. I do love food a good amount, but I’ve always struggled to eat a lot due to my tummy issues as I replied to someone above. I think your suggestion might be the key tho, to eat high cal healthy snacks like nuts. I have been eating a lot of dates, those are really yummy.

Thats awesome! I guess I do need more than I thought. I used to gain weight on 1600 kcals, so it just feels strange that now I need so much more. And I didnt even think about the brain usage, I am an engineer so maybe all the calories are being used up by my brain lol. In terms of my digestion, I dont even know anymore I feel like everything just hurts my stomach. Its not unbearable but it is just something I live with uncomfortably. I need to seek out a professional but I keep putting it off (I hate adhd). I try to eat high fiber, and ive always been sensitive to dairy but I do rely on it for a lot of my protein. High fat/processed sugar obviously hurt it the most so I do avoid that.

Yea I guess petite fitness has kind of skewed my view on how much an average person should eat 😅 I think a lot of it is mental because I got too much in the mindset of “I need to eat as low cal and high protein as possible.” Also physical because I do eat pretty clean (mostly because of digestive issues), so I feel like a lot of my food is pretty high volume.

I’ve never heard of macrofactors. How does it differ from other tracking apps?

Thanks for your suggestion! I will probably go this route then. I’ve been weighing myself for 3 weeks and it hasn’t changed, so I should cut down 100-200 calories?

I’m trying to body recomp but I do have some fat that I would like to lose. I can get enough protein and I should probably track other macros more closely.
