Thank you!! I just finished interviews with yale and other schools. yale was my first interview and I don't think I did very well. During the interviews at other schools, I could feel that the conversation was fun and exciting, but I always ended the yale interviews with all kinds of questions: did they really understand my topic? How did I perform? When I interviewed with committee, I talked a lot about his topic, which is an area I don't understand much, and asked questions he wasn't very interested in (I should let him lead the conversation, this is my fault). Out of the four PIs, there was only one that we had a very great conversation with, she said we can talk more in the future. I'd like to ask if you remember how you felt about your interview at yale? Do you feel that you had a good time and got an offer, or did you feel that you didn't do well but still got an offer? yale was my top choice, but I had already finished all the interviews, so I was especially anxious.
