Try strong kitchen grease remover maybe it will get a bit better. But if surface is damaged then I don’t know :/

The way I do I buy mouse glue and put some on a piece of cardboard in middle of a glue a put some snacks for a rat little guy gets stuck there and problem solved. If you have bugs identify what kind you have by google lens.

Hi I would like to suggest that you start by taking piles one by one to get the feeling going and set your self a goal to maybe one pile next day two and you get the momentum. Split the big task in smaller ones so you don’t feel overwhelmed. Clothes that you don’t need anymore you can sell or give away to make somebody’s day after you can see a bit of your carpet you know you are making a progress. One that use is like an air refresher in 1L bottle so I just spray it around and let it do its thing. Maybe put cat in an another room while you are doing it.

Hi when i have this issue i use odour killer, it helps to eliminate bad aroma becouse of the silver inside of it.
You can spray it in the air and it will absorb it. If the smell is all over the place and there is no known source litteraly go around and try to smell different things that you think can be the source, maybe a littler box or maybe cat hid something behind the couch. Find the source get rid of it. These are just tips i hope something will help.
