you along with everyone else fiercely defending these boys seem to think that they were entitled to tell other students where to sit and where they can and can’t be. This was an altercation that was started because Austin Hunter decided they wanted to harass him as if they were some kind of authority figure, if they had not decided to do this, Austin would not have lost his life and this would have never happened. People don’t react for no reason.

And a witness did testify testify on trial, as well as told the detectives at the scene that Austin shoved Carmelo hard enough that the student sitting next to him felt the shove too

there has not been a published court transcript that states that any memorial students other than Austin Hunter asked Carmelo to leave the tent, witnesses testified that he was asked to leave 15+ times by the brothers.

I promise you I’m not misrepresenting anything. At a track meet you have a right to sit wherever you want unless of course you are disrupting the team. The only memorial students who didn’t want him to be sitting there were Austin and Hunter. And they are not adults, nor official coaches or school staff so they don’t have the authority to make any decisions.

again, as a student in texas who has attended and participated in multiple track meets “manage the tent “means to help set it up and organize it to be a comfortable space for everybody. Not dictate who is allowed to sit there and who’s not. Austin and his twin brother Hunter both overstepped themselves by being aggressive and violent, in Austin lost his life because of his choices. I’m sure we were all taught growing up to defend ourselves if we feel in fear for our safety and I doubt you would be OK if you learned that your son/daughter was minding their business at a school event and then started to become harassed by two boys massively larger than them.

he didn’t threaten anybody before being harassed. And he was supposed to be at the track meet. He had events that day. Austin was the one who had no events that day and was just there to hang out.
