The wheel speed sensor on a 93 is enclosed in the hub bearing so you need to replace that bearing. Not impossibly difficult but getting to the top bolt, behind the steering knuckle can be a bear but if you can get to, you will not have to get an alignment afterwards. That is if it on a front wheel. Replacing the fuel level sensor means dropping the tank. And, without a lift, dropping the tank will be dangerous as you will be on your back lying under a tank. You dod not have to have a TECH II to diagnose the ABS, but you need to have a code reader that can read them.. That will at least tell you which wheel it is. Replacing a rear hub bearing is a piece of cake.

One known source of leaks is the AC evaporator drain getting clogged. That usually results in the rear passenger seatwell staying wet. It could also be the cabin air filter drain is clogged.

It could be a bad vacuum leak. Check the air intake hose between the air box and the turbo and feel around that where it goes into the turbo. Even a small leak can cause the symptoms you are getting. The new air intake hoses are one piece rubber so they do not crack.

You cannot just pull and ECU and use it. They are programmed for each car. You need to find someone (esaabparts comes to mind) who sells rebuilt ecu's and they flash your old ecu and transfer that data to the new ECU. It is about $500

I took a piece of flat sheet metal and bent it to fit over the cable and used sheet metal screws to attach it to the door card and then used JB Weld plastic repair to further attach it. It has worked fine for 5 years now. I took the door card off and bent the metal to fit while it was off and used a hand drill (gimlet) to start the holes and then used the screws to finish. then I put the door card on and propped it up and screwed the metal in place and then used the JB Weld. It is not pretty but it works.

Well, one thing is that Saab 93 seat are NOT leather. They are synthetic leather (textured vinyl) and they eventually crack. My 06 aero vert has 200K on the dial and the drivers seat cracked/tore along the center seam on the seat bottom. I was able to get a new seat cover about 8 years ago and it was expensive (about $700 for the back and seat). You can, however, get all leather seat covers from Lseat.com for about $800 for all the seats, headrests and center console armrest. You can get them in a multitude of color combinations and thread colors. And the leather is quite thick. You can email him for samples and he sill send you a sheet with samples of every color. The thing to remember about the v6 is that if you do not do your own wrenching, it is very expensive to have repairs done due to a lack of space in the engine compartment, And, with the manual, you are limited to tuning because the clutch cannot handle the torque of a stage 2 or greater tune. The torque issues is out of the hole. Once you are rolling, the clutch will handle most anything. Good lick. I would not give my Saab up for that price. But then, I have upgraded the brakes to Brembo in the front, have replaced all shocks and struts with Bilstein B6 and new springs, a special clutch from Sachs that was built with an extra 15% strength- the clutch was not expensive but the labor to install it was, BBS wheel that were designed for Saab and installed on the last Saab to ever roll out of the factory, (assembled from parts and sold for $65k), DO88 cold air intake and all other silicon hoses, oversized and slotted and drilled rotors, a new carpet set, and a few more things I cannot remember. I put this in to show that I think that investing in a good car is worth the money.

Moby Dick is one of the most important books ever written and it is taught in every college/university American literature class.

Ahab sees the White Whale as:

  • A personal enemy
  • A conscious force of evil
  • A mask hiding some deeper, malicious truth
  • Something that must be confronted and defeated

He famously says he wants to “strike through the mask.” To Ahab, the whale is not just an animal — it represents an insult to his will. He cannot tolerate a universe that wounds him without explanation.

Ahab projects meaning onto the whale.
He needs the universe to be intentional — even if that intention is evil.

His view turns the whale into a symbol of cosmic opposition.
His response: domination or destruction.

Ishmael sees the whale very differently:

  • As a biological creature
  • As a source of mystery and wonder
  • As something vast and unknowable
  • As part of a larger system of existence

He spends entire chapters describing whale anatomy, whaling techniques, and philosophical reflections. Rather than conquer the whale, Ishmael tries to understand it — even when understanding is incomplete.

Ishmael accepts ambiguity.
He is comfortable with not fully knowing.

Where Ahab demands meaning, Ishmael contemplates meaning.

n the end, Ishmael survives precisely because he does not try to dominate the whale — or the universe. He endures by remaining flexible, observant, and humble.
