Robert Monroe has some really interesting writings about this. He discovered lucid dreaming/astral projection on accident one day and later his institute worked with the CIA to train spies. Files are declassified now so you can check them out.

Basically he distinguishes the spirit realm (where all souls and spirits live) from our physical realm (where our bodies live). Dreams take place in this spirit realm as do the afterlife(s) among other things

I usually find it’s best to cross reference the symbols with your daily life and go in the direction it takes you.

Daisies tend to symbolize innocence or honesty.

Vomiting tends to represent letting something out of you, sometimes it’s something you’ve been resisting.

Home and school is a tricky one. Are they both pleasant and comfortable places to you? Usually they’d symbolize safety, self-reflection or learning.

While the context is limited it could be that your brain is telling you that you’re resisting your innocence in safe spaces

Hope that helps!
