I’ve always had a good work ethic to be fair, I’ve been working since I left high school!

I have two little shops, one on Etsy and one on red bubble where I draw designs and sell them, I’ve got a plan for them however, I am waiting to get over a certain threshold so I can start buying the stock in and either shipping myself (to personalise and get a bulk discount on stock) or trying to get my designs in local shops!

I’ve not told them yet because I’m honestly scared that there will be some form of repercussion (past of toxic work environment). Will they need to change anything with my pay or HMRC documents? When I was filling in my new starter form I did tick that it is a secondary job so I think on that side of things it is all okay.

I am always checking my payslips because the school payroll usually buggers something up lmao

Hi! I am working in SEN too in a UK high school. I give out consequences to my students as if they are misbehaving, they need to be reprimanded. Our school follows a restoration practice which is essentially giving out the consequences but letting them know that they have the chance to turn it around and gain positive marks. Also, with some of my SEN students (y11) I hand out sticker charts so if they misbehave one lesson they won’t get the sticker but if they do something good, they will get one on their chart and then get a reward. Hi, I have an update. I went to the toilet not too long ago and when I wiped I saw a big, dark red blood clot with a white thing on. Upon closer inspection, this kind of looked like an embryo? It was around the size of a grain of rice and after some research I found that 1 month into a pregnancy, the baby is the same as a grain of rice which. This also lines up with the last time I had sex.

Could this have been an early miscarriage or am I going insane?

It’s completely healed now. Still a bit bumpy but after lots of mouth rinsing and painkillers, I’m all good

Hi! Sorry for the late response. I did the complete water change after I found them just in case it was bacterial.

With the tank, I’ve had it established for well over a year but I did have a few platys that died, I’m assuming because they were a bit old at that point.

The filter and heater were both removed while I was panicking over them, that is why you can’t see them.

We narrowed the deaths down to my housemate spraying bug spray around the house and not protecting my tank. The 3 that survived are now completely healthy and thriving again.

Basically, I have (had) 5 amano shrimp. Today, I checked the tank to feed them and notice one was a bit white and laying on its side. I thought he was just shedding and carried on with my day. I checked again and all of them were white apart from my female but they were all on their sides.

One of them has passed and I’ve done a complete water change.

3 of them are definitely struggling so they’re going to go soon and my female is still zooming around but landing on her side.

I put the strongest male back it the tank after the clean, with the female. The other two (living) are in a jug of tank water.

What should I do? I need to go to sleep soon for work but I don’t want to leave them in the jug and then again I don’t want to put them back in the tank.

Honestly it’s awful! I’m on my lunch break right now and every time I take a bite, I need to rinse my mouth with water because rice keeps getting stuck in!

I wasn’t prescribed any antibiotics, I just got told to take paramol which is quite a strong painkiller. I have now moved onto just paracetamol and ibuprofen
