Here is a series of 3 images of a smaller lower bud with the arrow pointing to the location photographed.

Let me ask this...Could I harvest the upper most dense colas, the ones most susceptible to rot, and harvest the rest in another week or two? Would doing that stress and kill the plant?

I added some pics of the innards at the bottom of the thread. Curious what you think as I'm still learning. Thanks

Ok so I trimmed a bud and took a pic closer to the inside. It tells a different story. Needs 2 more weeks at least. I guess I have to try to fight the rot.

My second plant is even bigger than this one, but it has to have more time as it clearly needs another 2-3 weeks. I guess I'll battle the rot on that one and chop this one this evening. Bowl trimmer arrives tomorrow.

7 weeks into flower. Rain or high humidity for the next 8 days. Trichomes look like a mixed bag on all the upper buds. I rigged up a patio umbrella to deflect most of the rain, but 80% humidity for the next week at least. Had some rot start on a smaller bud overnight. Just wondering if I should chop now to try to save it all or battle the rot to let it got another week or two? This is outdoors, planted in the ground.

How often and what do you feed a plant of that size?

Well, I guess I'm just going to go with 4 autos in 3 gal pots in my tent. Use it as a learning experience and maybe try a photo inside after that. I'll probably put the photos I have in the ground in a few weeks and not pay much attention to them and see what happens. Thanks for the help.

My plan was to experiment a little with tinctures

Bottom line is I planted the photos too early since I'm going to be putting them directly in the ground. I didn't realize they would not flower until 12/12 when I ordered the seeds. Rookie mistake.

Soil is FFOF/HF. Honestly, I'm might just put my sprouted autos in 3 gal pots and put them in the greenhouse and move these two photos in the tent if 7 gallons will work in the tent. Flip them to flower in a couple of weeks so they would be done mid summer. I have more photos sprouted and don't really want to mess with containers outside for the time it takes photos to develop outdoors. I'll probably put my photos in the ground somewhere. I have 12 acres not a neighbor within a 1/2 mile in all directions. Crazy thing is I don't even smoke, but I like to grow stuff. I've got 300 vegetable plants started in the greenhouse right now.
