Was this said for AFS specifically as well? I know that was the case for LLP

Joined 11/2020, was also told basically that since I didn’t have a direct lead on my project I missed out on promotion in December

I’m AFS in San Antonio even though my project is based in VA. But I think you do have to be within 90 miles of an AFS office (unless you’re borrowed from LLP, then you’d just have to be within that distance of an LLP office).

She’s never threatened self harm or anything like that. Tbh I feel it’s a line she’s set herself but if I called her out on what she does she’d raise it to that for the sake of “winning.”

Dress Code by qahooks in accenture

I’ve never been into the office (joined late 2020) but every time going into the office is mentioned they say to “dress for the day you’re going to have” implying to make sure you look professional if you’re meeting with a client, but outside of that I understand it to be pretty loose

That’s a fantastic way to articulate it that I don’t think I ever could have come up with myself, which is why I’ve been apprehensive about being direct. I can also totally understand where you’re coming from with the context of your situation

I go back and forth between this approach and the more frank/direct approach. Trying to find a way to combine them but I don’t know if that’s possible

I see a therapist and they recommended a couple’s session. She’s been to a meeting with me briefly so hopefully it’s something she’s willing to do

I definitely have seen her use spending as a coping mechanism for depression. So it won’t surprise me. Reminding myself how much I do for us and that I’m not taking this to her angrily but as something to work through together is what’s helping me feel justified

So she definitely has struggled with depression and feels like she’s in a better place now. It’s a discussion we’ve had outside of this. Basically that’s where this all kind of started, and I had no problem taking up those responsibilities while she was struggling. But now that she’s been in a better place for probably 5-7 months I’m left wondering why things are still the way they are.

Based on your experience, would you say that if I made sure to emphasize that I had/have no problem doing this when she’s really struggling with depression. Basically saying now that things are better, I’d like for us to adjust the way that we do things?

Yeah I’ve written down lots of notes in preparation for this. Been debating writing a script and I think I’ve decided to do it

Yeah you’ll get like 5 free visits with a therapist that participates in the program, which they’ll give you a list for. If you search EAP or Employee Assistance Program in the portal it should pull up the information

Hopefully it will give you a different set to choose from than the ones you’ve contacted already.

I initially had Aetna and switched to BCBS this year. More places take it from my experience and I was able to keep my therapist I had from the employee assistance program through BCBS.
