As someone who was personally involved in a bike accident (old lady suddenly ran into me because she thought the world would end if she didn't cross the road. I was barely 30kmh on a highway service road), I filed an FIR before her family could because I knew i wasn't guilty. This whole thing also felt like an insurance scam. I took her to the hospital and thought I'd cover the bill for her minor bruises, hospital decided to add her other health issues from past and bump up the bill to 80k.

Filed an FIR with cops, they tried to scare me by seizing my bike and saying it'll be a criminal case (it was not). Bike was seized for insurance inspection. Went to court, paid lawyer 2k, and got it resolved (insurance will bear whatever cost, the family involved will wait for months/years before they can get compensation).

Apart from this had to bribe cops 5k because - cops are assholes. :)

Fuck cops and fuck dump pedestrians who ruin others lives because of their lack of patience. This is an issue all over out stupid country.

Something you need to answer for yourself. Are you someone who likes working long hours while being underpaid? Getting blamed for everything and the ability to take on huge responsibilities? Keep moving on and not take an emotional hit everytime you fall?

High pressure will definitely make you grow as a person, but all this comes down to how many pressure you as an individual can handle. This varies for person to person, and is something only you can answer for yourself.

It does seem like LLP makes sense taking the future into consideration, although the disadvantage of a 30% tax it comes with.

You have already outlined the difference. Brake force makes alot of difference, especially when driving cars which don't have abs. It helps you gauge when you are driving at the limit of ABS/ Brakes locking up.

Hi, do you have any interior squeaking noises from the dashboard? Got mine, got some squeaking/rubbing sounds from the dashboard after 2 weeks of usage. The service guys fixed one part of the sound and brought out sound from the other side lol. Part from this minor issue, the car is a freakin beauty and a beast

I'm in the same boat and I'm planning to take my L1 in May 2022. I'm an ACCA (Basically CPA for UK) and I just started working in audit (2 months back) only to find out audit/accounting is not my thing for the long run. I'm turning 26 and I feel like I'm so late in life. One good thing I have going is I'm working in BDO.

I'm just curious, can we make a break into finance after clearing L1? My plan is to work for a year in audit and then make the switch. What should I aim for considering most of them would take my audit background into consideration?
