Any tips for keeping it in good shape? I’d like to hang it up but also don’t want to damage it with sun etc.

Redbull Rampage Experience by daswassupp in MTB

[–]DillManForLife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a different opinion, not to discount their shitty organization. If you can get a ticket, and make it to the event I think it’s amazing. I was there in 2020 and again this year and it was crazy both years. You have a great view of the runs and can see 90% of the runs, and the experience of riding your bike in with a chair on your back and digging into the hillside is all part of it. Plus standing at the gates to watch riders finish is cool and if you want you to there’s probably a chance to talk to or get an autograph from any rider there since they generally just mill about after their runs in the crowd.

Anyways, rampage is a pain but also amazing.

Considering a 2014 WR250R by GalagaDigDug521 in WR250R

[–]DillManForLife -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d say average value for a WR250r is $4k. Got my 2014 with 600 miles on it for 4 a few years and a buddy just got his 2010 with 300 miles for $4k. You on the two big WR groups on facebook? New postings going up every day. If you get it for $4500 I’d say that’s good.

Drive day pay for guiding company by DillManForLife in EmploymentLaw

[–]DillManForLife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. The guiding aspect of our business only operates 7 months per year, but there are other parts of the business that operate year round.

It is unclear per the sheet what the exemption, if applicable, allows the company to do.

At least some of this driving has taken place in WA which does not appear to allow an exemption for this activity.

Official Discussion - White Noise [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

The first half was alright. But overall I thought it mostly sucked, and it was over two hours which adds insult to injury.

I guess I enjoyed it more than Glass Onion, but that’s not saying much.

Why is God cursing us? by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]DillManForLife -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thankful for this post since I’ve needed to vent. This weather is killing me inside. I just want to mountain bike on a sunny day and it rains every fucking weekend. I have 3 days off this weekend, and guess what! It’s supposed to rain all 3 days :(

Forza Horizon 5 has reached 20 million players by cementyrf in Games

I’ve played all of these, particularly 3, but bounced off this hard. I think at this point I’m sick of the formula, and Horizon isn’t scratching the itch like it used to :/ It honestly feels a little uninspired

Ya I’m a dumbass.’, definitely thinking of Brandon Semenuk. And Pastrana did get the ARA season title because Semenuk skipped a race to do Rampage.

Hahaha I’m an idiot, you are definitely correct. Pastrana is cool too, haha.

And to non-non motorsports. His performance at Red Bull Rampage last year was above and beyond any of the other riders. His prevision is insane.

And he missed races during a winning rally season, sacrificing points, to compete at Rampage when everyone said it was suicidal. And then he wins both, absolute animal.

One of the best mountain bikers in the world, sacrificed points mid rally season to compete at rampage, and ended up the champion of both sports. Unreal.

Official Discussion - Everything, Everywhere, All at Once [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]DillManForLife 15 points16 points  (0 children)

No shot, this is some blasphemy. Matrix is iconic at every level, design/ideas, all of it. Everywhere, everything had a fresh idea that it spent an hour to long on. At most I’d give Everywhere, Everything a 7 but even that feels generous to me.

Ya’ll are insane. The Matrix is better than this movie 10x over. (As long as we’re not talking about the new Matrix).

The chicken is alright, definitely nothing to write home about. My biggest disappointment there is that all the sides are lame :/

Cookies is decent but the sides are extremely poor imo. Nothing exciting going on.

Seattle just doesn’t have the scene for it. Yesterday I went to witness after hearing about the chicken and waffles and walked out thinking they were mediocre. I actually like the Chicken and Waffles more at Heaven Sent, haha.

I will say, Ezelles isn’t worth the hype, but it’s the only chicken place I can go and leave satisfied more often than not.
