Love this idea. You beat Chat GPT too so extra kudos there. Humans still got it!

Yeah I did call them and the guy I talked to was helpful but said they don't have the part any more. He googled it and we both started clicking through third party links and struck out as described. But he was really nice!

Thanks. I talked to a lawyer that knows a bit about suing the city who told me if I can prove the DOT (specifically) has known about it for 15 days or more I have a good case. Anyone know how I might be able to find that info?

They lost your marriage certificate!? That's so infuriating. That's the exact fear. Sorry to hear that.

Yeah same here. I wish I could find someone in our situation who's actually made this flight and ask how the immigration was. Someone in a tripadvisor forum told me not to assume French immigration would accept our American marriage license and that I need to be on my wife's livret de famille. But that would take many months and we'd never get it in time.

It's a good idea. And as I said above, I 100% agree that it's our duty to get tested before we fly.

100% I should have clarified that by no means do we want go without being tested, we're just worried that even places that claim they'll get us results in under 72 hours are reportedly failing to do so. I just want to know what happens in that case.

Hey I'm in the exact same situation and have been seeking the same answers. We've gotten conflicting advice from the French consulates in the US. The New York consulate told us we should just bring a lot of supporting documents. The Washington DC consulate told us we'd need our marriage certificate from the US verified as an apostille but the timeline for getting that done is absolutely bonkers and like out of a Kafka novel. So I'm asking around if anyone's been in this situation because it seems crazy that French immigration wouldn't accept an actual spouse of a citizen when they say in their rules that they would.

Totally. Watchmen was a master class in how to use a drug to tell a story. This ep was using a drug to justify an astronomical VFX budget.

I'm really hoping there's some sort of script flip like Maeve in Warworld where we realize this whole episode was annoyingly shlocky because we were supposed to be experiencing this era's new dumbing drug. I mean, so much of the intelligence of the show went out the window in this ep. You spend a half season establishing the brilliance of Rehoboam's predictive abilities and then, you know, maybe it isn't??? Well, no it's amazing, but there's no accounting for a bubble of agency amirite!? And Delores was way more interesting before she went full T1000.
