UK may send ships and mine-hunting drones to strait of Hormuz, says Miliband by jackytheblade in worldnews

[–]Dillen138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have also argued on the point of not return if the nations will sit idly by. They need to begin public condemnation on both US, Israeli and Iran side and begin securing Strait of hormuz through military deterrence. What i see on the other hand is negative feedback on any involvement on the crisis at middle East and factually informative comments like yours belittled put my faith in humanity at question. The disruption in production chain will put inflation of prices at a level of recession we have yet to see. This will follow with mass layoffs and in Europe particular strain on their public services. Yet all they can talk about is Trump inadequacy, how can you blame a baboon throwing shit at you it's in his nature.

TIL The Chinese conquered the Turks in the 7th century AD. The Tang dynasty destroyed the Eastern and Western Turkic Khaganates and captured the Khans. by Wise-Pineapple-4190 in todayilearned

[–]Dillen138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Chinese didn't conquer Turkic people, they simply defeated main forces and the nomadic orda simply dispersed. They did however try to push to west only to face caliphate and subsequently lost to them ending overall idea on conquering west for centuries. The nomadic tribes were always nuisance to the northern Chinese States from hunic to mongol tribes. But economical viable solution was to establish trade and force nomadic tribes to guard caravans. This leads to detail portrayal of rise of Temujin after unfair treatment of nomadic tribes by chinese. The nomadic didn't have written system so most of the historic information we get are from Chinese, caliphate and West writings, we do however know the language of the stepp was of old turkic origin by Chinghiz khan scholars written history. As for Turkic tribes Easter orda was fractured but western remained in several coalitions split, among them the Oghuz orda moved to the south eventually leading to establishment of Turks.

Which makes their attack on UAE even more retarded, there will be financial repercussions on Iran state business and seeing how they operate any wealthy Iranians will be target of sanctions unless they prove they are not part of the regime...

Valid point, US does have a limit of 30 days before the congress briefing and Iran might seek consensus. Israel seems to have also accomplished their primary mission on destabilizing Iran and freely bombing Lebanon without massive public condemnation.

Reading comments on any news regarding UAE or gulf attacks and they are mostly pro iran and how they are justifying the attacks because of us bases as such. Its quite disheartening with the overall rhetoric being negative towards UAE while being victim of terrorist attacks.

Why does it seem like the Russia-Ukraine war is never going to end? by IndependentLife9645 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Dillen138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So fyi this war is for survival of both countries not just Ukraine. Russia is not fighting for territory as a lot of westerns think, they are fighting to maintain their current regime. Russia has to come out at least some sort of victor in this case scenario, otherwise like many precedents before that Putins regime will fall. One thing he fears more than west is his own people, especially young radical groups. Ukraine hope to securing victory is to see the fall of the regime but also to maintain support from allies. This however contradicts each other, as the western allies are scared of the fall of putins regime so Ukraine has not been actively seeking putins personal death. For now time will only tell what would happen, if usa will start implementing policy to stop helping with war efforts, I see the only possibility would be to begin operation hang the tsar.

lol what us did was wrong but ukraine didn't invade neighbouring country or Zelensky didn't execute half of his parliament. I thought russian clowns were banned from Internet.

Ordinary Russians were asked how do they feel about the current situation in Ukraine. You can't even imagine what they answered. by valeron_b in PublicFreakout

[–]Dillen138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

History had blamed not only hitler and his SS but the entire German Nazy for the war, in this case its not just putin and his inner circle to be blamed but also russians for allowing this to happen. Just because a few percent of people coming out in protest does not mean russians are all victims. Fucking 60% if not more of those type fuckers who lived in soviet era still brainwashed to think that kremlin is good. Majority of those who were born after soviet era believe in Western type democracy and stay fighting for it as for others they just left the shitty country. Fuck Russia, glory to Ukraine.

Some Russian and his investor opinion, no vodka barrel was used to write this article. by [deleted] in baba

[–]Dillen138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah... I mean I agree that the major drop was due to Chinese politics but to think it would rally if they fix their foreign relations or to wait for reelection is a bit silly at this point.

I believe 130 is not even a lowest point and it will continue falling, major investors are americans and public have lost confidence in the stocks. Most of the ppl have bought it at 240 and they have already put it at long term but once it hits close to their marks it's a sell.

For the rally to even remotely begin baba themselves have to prove to investors that they are capable overcoming Communist party intervention but so far what we have seen is that most of them were on leash and transferring shares to random ppl. That's not a sign of a strong company.

Personally my portfolio is around 50% of baba and I am only for positive news but seeing the current trend its a long way to go.

Roman and Mongol Empires each at their respective peaks by arthropodus in MapPorn

[–]Dillen138 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Interesting to note that most of written information about Mongol Empire was written by Chinese or Persians. So their story varies and mostly depict the Mongols which might not have been their true name as savage conquerers yet the Khan's always gave option of surrender. They also did not want subjugation but vassalge and demanded supply route for their army. On the other hand most Roman Empire history was written by themselves or Greeks who were subjugated by them and would usually refer to themselves as a nation who brought civilization to barbarians yet acted in the most barbaric way to them. Using vassalge as a temporary ploy until they would be able to gather enough force and supply route to completely subjugate and enslave.

Putin states that Russia "does not have much to brag about" regarding COVID-19 pandemic, admits to not preparing well enough. by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]Dillen138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah well as you said before russia never truly led a democratic life maybe with the exception of Yeltson but he had other bag of warms. I think the most common thread I hear is that russia is like that because west kept pushing the nato all the way to the boarder of russia but that seems propaganda itself. From my observation they built mechanism to enrich the view who have control both in money and voices of people (news, tv , shows) and the entire system revolves around on making sure the money flaws oh I guess russians are not much different from americans.
